How do I get more money?
Here are some ways to make more money.
Shake trees in your neighborhood. If money comes out of the tree, there should be 100 bells. NOTE: Watch out for bee hives!
Enable the code for 30,000 bells.
Hit rocks with your golden shovel. If a rock turns red, keep on hitting it. 100 bells, 1,000 bells, and 10,000 bells can come out of that rock. NOTE: There is only 1 special rock a day.
Work for the villiagers. Sometimes they will give you 100 to 1,500 bells. But unfortunately, this happens rarely.
Catch bugs or fish out fish. If you catch a bug or a fish that is rare, Tom Nook will offer you a lot of money for that insect or fish.
If a bee hive comes out of a tree. Get your butterfly net out. If you catch a bee you could sell it for 4,500 bells!
Search for fossils and donate them to the museum. Skulls of dinosaurs are sometimes worth the most. Sell them to Tom Nook to get around 4,000 to 6,000 bells!
If you have around 10,000 bells, buy as many 100 turnips as you can. Sell all of them to Tom Nook the next day. It is possible to get 73,600 bells just selling 100 turnips!
Every New Year your parents give you 10,000 bells. Change the date and time to New Year to get 10,000 bells.
Fish for the Arawona fish. To find it, set the date and time to 5:00 P.M. on July 1. The Arawona fish is worth 10,000 bells when sold to Tom Nook.
Play the game after it is dark and go to the waterfall. There will be a fish called a Large Char which sells for 10,000 Bells each. They are common to catch, and you can make about 100,000 Bells in about five hours.
Set the clock to December 24 at 8:00 p.m. and make sure you have ten outfits (including what you are wearing). Find and talk to Jingle five times. On the fifth time, he will give you a present based on what your three answers were (foldable things are clothes, woven things is carpet, printed things is wallpaper, and big things is furniture). Immediately change clothes and talk to him again. Every time you change, he will give you a present. You can get up to ten presents that sell for 12,240 Bells each. Then, set the clock back to 7:59 p.m. and repeat the process. You can make up to 500,000 Bells in two hours.
On Halloween, find Jack and talk to him. Give him candy and he will give you a spooky series item. Then sell the item to Tom Nook the next day. You could make around 15,000 bells! Repeat this as many times as desired.
Go shell hunting on the coast of your town. If you find a lot of good ones, you could make around 5,000 bells by selling all of them.
Set the date and time to Thanksgiving at 3 p.m. and steal the silverware. Talk to a villager that did not go to the feast until they tell you a hint to Franklin's location. Give him the silverware to get a piece of the harvest series. Repeat until you have the whole set, including wallpaper and carpet, then sell the set to Tom Nook. You can get over 500,000 Bells by doing this.
