Dragon Race Guide: which Races have which Obstacles
Each Race has always has the same (usually two) obstacles. Having a list of which obstacles appear in which race is the key to picking the right Dragons.
Example: Ulster Meadows Race always has a mixture of Earth and Plant obstacles. I suggest you race the Moss Dragon here (it’s the most common dragon that excels in these two environments, but if you have the rarer Tree Dragon, it will work as well). Air and Metal dragons suck here. Make sure to avoid an element’s opposite.
Ulster Meadows Race; Earth and Plant; Moss Dragon
Rime or Reason race; Winter and Air; Snow Dragon
Electric Skies race; Lightning and Air; Sonic Dragon
Shimmering Fault Line race; Lightning and Earth; Quake Dragon
Marshlands race; Plant and Water; Seaweed Dragon
The last two races get tricky. There are more than two kinds of obsticles.
Cherry Road race; Fire, Plant, and Earth;
I usually prepare for Fire and Plant: Flower or Poison Dragon
Year of the Dragon race; Fire, Air, Water, Earth
The rare Panlong Dragon would be perfect, but I don’t have one yet. You’d better be good at racing. Any advantage you give your racer, will also have obstacles that it’ll suck at. This one is simply how good a racer you are.
