The best shark tap
This is the easiest way I've found to "catch" sharks without being harmed. You start at a beach or if you've already built a lake & planted sharks, stack sand blocks, in the area you want your "trap" as many as you need to reach the surface (you'll need to be able to stand on them & still reach in the water). Then continue placing blocks out into the water , for as long as you want the "trap" to be. I usually just do like 5 or 6 long . Then go through & dig out the bottom layers leaving only 1 block at the surface. Now you dig out every other block. Then you stand on a middle block and meditate (or sleep) . I usually do this with a block head that I'm not using at the time because you really don't need to monitor it constantly. Now the sharks see you there & swim up but become stuck, they'll just flip back forth until you kill them. I've caught a bunch & this way seems to work the best! Just remember, like everything else if you don't check on it once in a while, the sharks might disappear:-) happy hunting!
