How to Kill Fish Easily without Fishing Rod
You will be spawning your own fish and killing them once they are trapped. But, first you need to build/dig a tank and make a small trap in it first. Beware you might not understand this.
The materials you need are:
- Tin bucket(s)
- At least 28 blocks of sand or dirt (if you are building the tank)
- About 14 other blocks other than sand or dirt
- spade(s) (if you are digging the tank)
- A weapon or your bare hand
Here's to how to build the tank with the trap. If you choose to dig a tank, dig down to 4 blocks deep and 20 blocks wide with your spade or hand. If you are to build it, use the 28 blocks of dirt or sand and make it 4 blocks deep and 20 wide, don't cover the top unless you want to. Once you're done, go inside the tank (or stay in it if you are already in) and go to one of the walls of the tank. Don't climb out. Now you should be beside the tank wall. Now walk 9 blocks towards the wall at the other side and stop. Hopefully you have some other blocks with you because you need to place that block right where you're standing. Remember what direction you were walking before you stopped and placed a block under you. If you were walking left, you step to the left. If you were walking to the right, you step to the right. Either way now you should be off the block and beside it. Now you stack 2 blocks where you're standing. Don't switch to sand or dirt yet. When you are done go to the right/left again. You should be beside the 2 blocks you just made and should be standing on the ground. Again stack 3 blocks where you are. When you're done, it should look like stairs now. Go to the left/right again, now stand on the ground, dig the sand or dirt right under you and cover it back up with a different block other than sand/dirt and do the same thing to the rest of the ground that is between the wall you're closest to and the stairs. If you wish, you may attach a block beside the highest block on the wall that is closest to the stairs. If you are on the right side of the tank, you put it on the left side. If on the left, you put the block on the right and if you didn't understand that, just skip that part and MAYBE the diagram below MIGHT help. Just skip it if you don't understand that too. The place where you are standing in is where the fish will get trapped. I'll call that the trapping place. If you want, you can replace the walls with a different block to look better. You're done building! All you have to do is add water until it's close to very full or to spill out and plant as much kelp in the sand or dirt. That will be their spawning place. Sleep or meditate for a day or two and check if there are any fish trapped in there. If there is, go to the trapping place and hit the fish with your weapon or hand. Some fish may escape too, but they'll come back in if you exit the trapping place. Goodluck!
The tank should look like this or simaliar. It's ok if it looks like it's mirrored to yours. Didn't add kelp though. hopefully diagram turns out good. b = Block
