There are certain trophies that can be obtained only after you've done well in certain community activities. The Fishing Tourney takes place on every third Sunday of January, March, May, November and December, from 12-6PM. The Bug-Off takes place every third Sunday of June-September, from 12-6PM. The Flower Fest takes place on the second week of April. Do well in these competitions to win these rare items.

The following upgrades for your house will be available after you pay back a certain level of debt.

Donate the indicated amount of Bells to Boondox to get the corresponding reward.

Save the indicated amount of bells at the Post Office to get the corresponding reward.

Get the indicated number of HRA points to win the corresponding reward.

Some paper in the game you can not buy from Nook or find lying around, you have to do certain things.

If you see this symol ^ Before the note use the high note:

Hit all the rocks in town with either a shovel or an axe until you find one that releases a money bag when you do. Continue to hit it as many times as you can until it finally stops releasing bags of money. With every 2 hits you do, the rock will release more gold. This can be done once a day.

Restart to get Resstti at least 2 times. Then get a shovel and hit all the rocks in the town until one cracks hit it again and go in the hole. There you will find Mr. Resetti.

This is a really easy trick. Just buy 10 letters, leave them blank, than pull an item onto it so that it becomes a present. Tada, 10 extra slots.

1) Grab a shirt or pattern.
2) Drag it to the lower left corner.
3) It'll be over an invisible space, drop it.

To enter Crazy Redd's tent you must give a password the first time and become a member. You can usually find the password by talking to some of the villagers.

Keep buying coffee from Brewster at the cafe every day until he begins taking to you in a more friendly manner.

The scallop is used to get the golden axe from Pascal. Pascal walks around by the beach at a random time, once a week. First, you need to buy a red turnip from Joan. Next, give it to Wendel the next time he comes to town. Wendel should give you the Turban or Country Guitar. If you get the Turban, take it to Sahara when she comes to town. Sahara should give you either the Massage Chair or Red Vase. If you get the Massage Chair, let Tortimer have it the next holiday and he should give you the scallop. Then just wait for Pascal to sho wup and give him the scallop. But if you got the Country Guitar, give it to K.K. Slider to get K.K.'s Pic And if you got the Red Vase, give it to Crazy Redd in exchange for the Safe. Give the safe to Tom Nook for the Tom Nook Pic.

First, divide your town into 16 x 16 acre squares, similar to the acres in Animal Crossing for Gamecube. You can use patterns on the ground to mark the acres. Next, make sure every acre has 12-14 trees that aren't touching eachother. Then put 3 flowers in every acre and you should have a perfect rating. And of course make sure there are no weeds or trash in your town.

Once you have the Golden Shovel, you can bury money and it will grow into a tree. The more money you bury, the more money the tree will grow..

Whenever you enter the Able Sisters store and try to talk to Sable (the hedgehog sitting behind the sewing machine in the back left corner), she usually just ignores you, or tries to tell you talk to her sister because she's busy. To develop a "friendship" with Sable, you must talk to her at least once every day for a number of days. Eventually, she will start having conversations with you, and even thank you for stopping by.

Sometimes when you go to the Town Hall, the recycling box may have furniture that you need. The lost and found at the Main Gate also may have free items. Talk to Booker, the dog on the left, to get to the lost and found.

Keep hitting rocks with an ax or shovel until finding a special one that gives a bag of Bells. Keep hitting it until the bags stop to appears. Note: This only happens once per day. A good way to get started in the game is to purchase a fishing rod or bug net. Set out to catch fish. If it is rare or at least worth 1,000 bells, keep it. If not, throw it back. You can also collect seashells of the same value. If catching bugs, catch them by listening to their sounds or watch for their colors. You can also look for treasure or many other things to collect money.

If you town becomes covered in weeds there will also be clvoer patches. If you are lucky, you will pull up a four leaf clover. This is pretty rare however, most patches you dig up will not contain the clover. The clover can then be used as an accessory in you character's hair, or if you place it in your house it will act as a bookmark in a book.

If you talk to Blathers when he is depressed looking, he will say that he detests bugs. Eventually, if you keep talking to him every day for a few days, he will explain how he is trying to overcome his fear, then how he finally gives up.

Once a day you can buy coffee at the cafe'. At first he just gives you coffe and says "Thanks...". But If you buy some from him coffee every day he will start asking you questions, treating you like a friend, asking you if he can put special ingrediants in your coffee, and thanking you for coming by.

If you have a TV, make sure you pay attention when the weather show is on. It'll tell you, in pictures, how the weather will be the next day. It'll either show a picture with the sun for a clear day, or clouds with snowflakes for snow, or rain etc. This is important if you want to catch a Coelacanth.

Your first house's roof color can be customized, believe it or not. Simply change your DS's menu color from the DS setup screen and your house will have that same roof color. NOTE: this only works with the color you have set when you first move into a house.

While the bug contest is going on, talk to tortimer and and he will give you a free bug net. This only works if you don't have a bug net on you already.

If you go up and talk to Tortimer at the Fishing Tourney and you don't have a fishing rod with you, he should give you his. It's just a normal fishing rod, but hey, it's free.

Talk to Tortimer during the Flower Fest for a free pack of flowers!

If an animal in your town has furniture in his or her house that you want, send them seashells, unwanted furniture, or fossils to them in the mail. They'll usually put these gifts in their house, displacing whatever was there before. Check the recycle bin at your Town Hall and the item you wanted from their house may be in there.

To change your skin tone, stay outside during summer, when it's most warm. After a few minutes of spending time outdoors, find any building to enter. You will notice your skin will have what only this season can give you. After a week or so, the tan will disappear unless you have been outside lately. Unlike the Gamecube version, this tan can range from being to very light to being seriously dark

Water dying black roses with the golden watering can, and they will return as golden roses the next day.

Forest Life

This song is the full version of the gamecube AC. If you don't have the game, but you do have AC for the Gamecube, and are just surfing the site, Then to hear "Forest Life" on the Gamecube, just turn the game on and open the disc cover as soon as you see the train monkey.

In the winter create a snowman by rolling up the snowballs you occasionally see laying around. Push one on to the other and a snowman is created with the correct proportions. The next day, as a way of saying thanks, he will mail you a rare item from the snowman set.

If there are items you need at the shop but you dont have enough bells to buy them just leave it. When you have the right amount of bells, save and end. When it starts, tap the phone and Reset clock. change the date to the day the items you wanted were in the shop and tap confirm.

Buy either a wardrobe or a set of drawers which will allow you to store up to 4 pages more of clothing, accessories, furniture and anything else, it even has colour coordinated sections so you can find what you are looking for easier at a later date. (Please note you can not store bugs, fish or any other live creature in there).

To do this, first deposit about 20,000 bells into your account. Then save your game and reset. Then go to options on the DS and set the date as high as it will go. Then turn on your game and you notice you have almost ten times the amount you started with. Withdraw that, save your game, and set the date back. There is only ne downside to this, when you save your game all those weeds are still there, so I wouldn't recommend this until you have the golden watering can. This also comes in handy with paying off your loan to Tom Nook.

If you go up to a tree, remove your equipment, and shake it. One of these could come out:

1.fruit (you will see the fruit on the tree if there is any) -worth 100 bells.
2.money -usually 100 bells (i think)
3.furniture -worth varies
4.clothes -worth varies
5. bee hive ( If you see one of these, run into the nearest building QUICK!) -worth nothing! If you get stung by the bees that come out, just buy medicine from Nook. You should get insurance money from Lyle in about a day. If you got insurance!

More ways to get money:
Set the date up. (see hints & tips)
Collect fruit. (different fruits sell for 500 bells)
Collect bugs, fish, or shells.
Get the golden shovel and bury money.
Look for "The Magic Rock"
Etc. Etc.

If you gets stung or bitten and dont want buy medicine, all you have to do is save your game and go back on. in no time your face will be clean and clear.

If you go to a neighbors house (THEY HAVE TO BE IN IT!!!) and talk to him/her alot then you might get to deliver or help they will give you something or they will think that a clothing will look good on you and they will give you it. (if he/she gives you a shirt it really looks good on you)

If you go to booker (the short dog in main gate) say something lost and the lost and found will show up if there are cool items in there by all means STEAL IT.

Plant a red snapper near the right side of town hall and a few days later there will be a fish tree.

If you send a note in a bottle to a different town and write a bulletin proposing to someone, then everyone in your town will talk about how you're getting married. They might even give you a wedding gift.

Dig 3 Holes any were near your house, then push Lyle into them and then dig another hole so that Lyle is trapped. Note: When you enter someones house and come back out the holes will be gone :)

To get the Jacobs ladder in your town (the Jacobs ladder is a rare flower) You must make sure all your tree's are not touching eachother and their are a few flowers in your town.(Make sure to have a few fruit trees.) Then go to the Town hall, Then go to the mat on the left and talk to Pelly or Phillys(It depends whos there)After that click on the "Enviroment", There will be a a Comment from a resident in your town. If it says something like,"There needs to be more trees" or "Its not colourful enough" or somethink like that and do what it says and keep checking. Then when it has a town rating of "perfect" The rarest kind of flower (Jacobs ladder)will start apeering in "random" places. If it stays like this for 16 days Pelly or Phillys will award you with a Golden.

Go To the Town hall and talk to either Phyllis or Pelly (whoevers there) and Go to the mat with a picture of a house on it(its green) and then Click on Town Tune. After that, put your ear up to the nintendo and you can hear the clock ticking! Its not very Good, but its cool. And you can also tell hte time by the clock aswell which is in the middle of both mats!

You think weeds are annoyin, but like to time travel well heres a tip get any design from they able sisters and cover your town this will worth the effort because no weeds can grow under em so time travel and make money.

When Gracie appears in your town, go and talk to her and pass the pop quiz with the best result possible e.g. "Dear fabulous"
you are beyond fabulous, etc." Afterwards go and talk to Gracie a few more times until she engagaes you in conversation. when she asks if you want to be re-styled say yes, she will askl for an amount if you give the the right amount she will give you Gracies top. I think the money is between 1,000-3,000 i gave 2,100. Good luck!

Hey, you know you can buy paintings in crazy Redd's shop? Well, he sells forgeries. OMG! Yeah, but there is a way that you can never buy a forgery. You see he has three items? If the painting is in the left corner (when you come in) it is real. If it's anywhere else it's fake.

When you shake a tree without fruit on a beehive will sometimes fall out if this happens run it to a house near by.

Press the arrow in the corner (or y) grab a top/design, drag your top/design to the bottm left hand corner and let go. When you've done all that, then the top/design that you used will become your background and your original background will become a top/design!!! (note you can NOT use hats/umbrellas for this)

If you see a baby kitten in your town saying either "I want my mommy", or something like that you have choose follow me , or something if you by a friend that has the same town the baby is in. Then to go to the gate and go to your buddys town and connect to help the kitty get back to its mom!!!!

When you are shaking tree's and a beehive come's out then run to a house but if you talk to someone outside they will say something like "What are you waiting for run for your life!" And then you will get stung because the bee's catched up to you.

Go to a different town(your friends) and get some of there fruits. Then, come back to your town and plant these fruits. Keep watering the fruits and a few days later you will have a new fruit tree. Take those fruits and sell them to tom nook. He will buy the fruits for $500 a piece!!!

Yes, I said aliens! There are aliens in Animal Crossing! Every once in a while mabey once a year, a flying suacer will be in the sky. It will not go fast probably the same speed as a balloon. Get your slingshot, and shoot it down. After it falls, you should see a picture of Town Hall. It should say: "Attention! An unidentified flying object has crashed in _____!" If you go up to the alien, it will look like Pelly, and it will only speak a few words. It will just lay there and occasionally move. This will NOT help your town's rating. It will NOT do anything but be there. People cotinue like they always do, and it will be gone by the next day!

At certain times, mabey around 10 pm, go to the cafe, and you might catch a glimpse of Phylis. You can talk to her. She will be drinking the cofee too! She will chat a little bit, but she is grumpy.

If you put 3 fruits in a row at the beach, in a few days there will be a coconut on the same spot you put it!! it sells for 500 bells at tom nooks shop!!

Once you have paid off your morgage Your Free without any more build to pay! YAY! But When Everyone in your Town finds Out They Will Be Moving Town Then They Will Offer You To Look After Their House. So, Then Go To Their House After They Leave And The House Wil Still Be in. This House Is now Officially Yours! But After 4 Months That Person Will Come Back And If The Full Morgage Is Paid Off The Will Pay You 5 Million Bells. My Mate Told Me And I Didn't Beleive This Seceret But Noe EveryOne Knows.!. YWY

To get free fireworks skip or wait till you get to the forth of july wait or skip to midnight then talk to tortimer and he will give you free fireworks.

If you shoot down a Ufo, talk to the alien, who looks like a bird, and he will tell you his spaceships broken. Run aaround town and grab the UFO peices. Gulliver will give you a Moai Statue. Tom Nook will not buy UFO parts.

On your birthday, if your Animal Crossing game came in a black box, a friend comes over and gives you a cake. Tasty! But you can't eat it, bury it so it'll grow a cake tree or, yes, sell it. SO WHY THE HELL DID YOU GET IT??? Here's why. It's worth 10.000 HRA points.

If you're highly interactive with another game of Animal Crossing, a cat will appear in both of your games. One is Kit, the mom, who has lost her daughter, Katie. Katie is in the other town. Make Katie follow you into the town where Kit is. WARNING: WALK or the kitten will not follow you. The next day, you will get a letter with a picture in it. It's got a high HRA rating.

With the golden Shovel, you can plant Bells. Planting 100 Bells can grow a tree you don't have to water.

Golden slingshot can shoot three stones at a time. Never miss a present again!

The golden fishingrod/net makes fish and bugs with huge pricetags more common. Money!

The golden axe never breaks. Obviously.

The golden watering can will make droopy black roses into golden roses! Shiny!

The golden timer makes... Oh. There is no golden timer. Sorry.

If you change the date on your DS it will also change the date in the game, allowing you to let fruit grow and making new fossil holes "pop up," just like in the Gamecube version of Animal Crossing

You know mable? The hedgehock or somthing who sells clothes and where you can make your own patern? If you are always alone and if you want to spend 350.000 bells (i know it is a lot) then make with it 1000 paterns then mable wil asc to wed with her! hope this helpt :)

The answer is all up to you if a neighbor that you are very close to is thinking about moving, (boxes are stacked up in there house) then you have a choice to stop them or not. Talk to them and they will tell you they are moving then hit the answer that says something like, "that can't be" or "don't go" if you hit the button that says "farewell" or "bye bye" then they will definatly leave but if you do hit the one on top the they will reconsider about moving and you won't have to have an emotional moment!!!!

Ok this works i do this with my friends,we have 48 million! ok so you go to a friends town over wifi and then when he gets there drop all of the items u want to clone. then he picks them up, save and continue. then he drops the items, u save and continue but on the sixth spinny wheel they press power! NOT you, if u are in your town, they have to press power.

You have to spend 240,000 and have one of your buddies from another town shop at nookway at least once and then after your friend shops there and you have spent 240,000 in nookway then you can get nookingtons!!!!

A very rare type of paper called SMB3 paper, is a reference to Super Mario Bros. 3 for the GBA. You can buy it, however.

Gulliver (in the UFO) can be shot down out of the sky. After you give him his 5 parts, he gives you a gift. But he has a certain limit on his gifts (14). On the 15th time fixing up his UFO, he'll tell you that he's out of gifts (uh-oh). He says the next time he comes here, he'll have an idea of something to give/do to you. So, wait until the next time he comes over. Shoot him down (for the 16th time) and collect his parts. He'll say he knows how to reward you, and you will find out tomorrow. When you go outside your house, Gulliver will greet you and ask you to follow him. He'll bring you to his ship and you and him will get in it. He'll take off and after a minute of seeing stars, you'll land on the moon. You won't find much, you can see craters and the earth, but not much else. The only interesting thing is this weird plant. It has 1 piece of fruit, shake it off. You will find that the whole "tree" falls down. You can pick up the fruit and the "tree". The "tree" can be used as furniture and the fruit picked, so you can harvest more "trees".

Warning: Don't sell the fruit. It's only 1,000 bells and you'd have to revisit the moon (on your 32nd, 48th, 64th, etc. time of helping Gulliver you'll get the same offer. It's basically a repeat, of the pattern you've already followed, so ya) to get a new one. The "trees" are cool in the house, and fit well with the space theme. They have an eerie green glow, and they have purple "bark". Very alien like.

Something is happening with Sable and Nook, and you can learn about their history

At some point, you'll notice Nook and Sable feeling low. If you talk to Sable and let her continue talking, you'll learn that she knew Nook before he was a business tycoon. You can do the same thing with Nook, just choose the option of asking what's wrong, and he'll talk about his problematic past.

If you get to a certain distance of a resident of your town and tap on them with the stylus you will wave to them and they will wave back to you (This will not work an normal characters e.g. wireless or DS multi card)

Very rarely, a fish with a fin sticking out appears. Well let me tell you what happened me once. While deep sea fishing, Gamedude saw a huge fish. He threw his bait in, and reeled in the monster. But when he pulled it out of the water he said:

"It's a fly... Buzz off!"

This ended his love for fishing. This time he was fly-fishing.
