To unlock the fifth level on normal mode, complete a total of 40 puzzles in the default levels.

Normal Level 6	Solve 50 Normal puzzles
Normal Level 7	Solve 60 Normal puzzles
Normal Level 8	Solve 70 Normal puzzles
Normal Level 9	Solve 80 Normal puzzles
Today's Picross "Find" Mode	Play Today's Picross at least once a day for seven days
Today's Picross "Not X" Mode	Play Today's Picross at least once a day for three days
