Some Pokemon will not breed in this way(legendary pokemon).

Guards to saffron city
To get past the guards to saffron city go into the big building next to the celedon city dept store and on the first floor there is a old lady who will give you some tea the one you drink then go to the guard and he will say that tea looks nice ha I can have it and he will share the tea with the other guards.

Determining Pokemon's feelings towards you
When you use an item on one of your Pokemon outside of a battle, such as a Potion, the Pokemon will either move closer or away from you in the short intermission sequence. How far the Pokemon moves depends on how much it likes you. If it does not move at all, it feels neutral.

Easy Level Up
This is a way to level up your pokemon by 'abusing' in-game trainers and the battle rules. The relevant rules are as follows:

1. If you lose a battle, you pay prize money. If you don't have any money, you don't pay a prize.

2. If you lose against a Trainer, you go to the nearest Pokemon center, and you will have to fight the trainer again.

To abuse these rules, you'll need to set-up. There are 3 things you need to do to set up.

1. Blow all of your money (or as much as possible) on items. This will keep you from losing a large amount of money while leveling up.

2. Put all healing and reviving items in your PC. This will keep you from wasting items, and make it easier to level up. Trust me on this.

3. This isn't really required, but makes things easy. Basically, you need the Exp. Share.

That's the set-up. To do it, fight a Trainer (the best trainer is probably Lorelei of the Elite Four). When fighting, beat all but their last pokemon. You will get expirience for the pokemon you beat, and the Exp. Share will level up lower level pokemon without entering battle. Now, let the last pokemon make your whole team faint. You will go back to the nearest pokemon center, but the pokemon who participated will have more expirience than before. Repeat as often as you like to get your team maxed out.

Exp. Share Breakdown
This will describe 3 scenarios to help explain the signigicance of the Exp. Share item.

Part One - Normal Battle
This is when no pokemon on your team holds the Exp. Share. If three pokemon are used to defeat a foe, and the foe gives 60 EXP, the breakdown is as follows:

Pokemon1 - 20
Pokemon2 - 20
Pokemon3 - 20

Part 2 - Exp. Share doesn't hit the field
This is when a pokemon has the Exp. Share item, but does not participate in battle. In this scenario, PokemonE has the Exp. Share, and Pokemon1 and Pokemon2 were the only ones that participated in battle. The defeated pokemon will drop 60 EXP total.

PokemonE - 30
Pokemon1 - 15
Pokemon2 - 15

Part 3 - Exp. Share hits field
Same scenario as part 2, but PokemonE does hit the field and helps defeat the enemy. Again, the enemy drops 60 EXP total.
PokemonE - 30 (for Exp. Share)+10(for participating) = 40 total

Pokemon1 - 10
Pokemon2 - 10

As you can see, fastest level up is done when the pokemon with the Exp. Share participates in battle. This can be used to quickly raise low level pokemon to a higher level.

Get into Saffron City!
OK,in FR&LG the guard won't let you pass.Go into Pokemon Mansion in Celadon city,& talk to the old lady. She'll give you some tea.Now go to the guard and he'll let u pass!!

Get more ex.p share
If you have pokemon from ruby/saphire give any pokemon the ex.p share and trade onto your pokemon fire red/leaf green.

Get Suicune, Raikou, or Entei
To Get one of the three ledgendary dogs it depends on your starter pokemon. If you got :

Charmander-Suicune
Bulbasaur-Entei
Squirtle-Raikiu

How To Get The Rainbow Pass
To get the rainbow pass (Island 4 - 7) you first need to defeat the elite four.Than you need to catch 60 pokemon and show prof oak he will update your pokedex to a national dex.Now go to 1 island and talk to celio he will say get the ruby and sapphire stones and bring them to me.Do this and show celio and he will reward you with a rainbow pass.

How to get the Ruby and Sapphire plate & Deoxys and also Lugia and Ho-oH
You must fight the elite 4 with catching at least 60 pokemon, go and get the national dex to proffessor Oak then go to the moltres mountain again you will see the team rocket blocking the passage to a cave, beat them and go inside the cave, then in the deep part of it you can see the ruby plate, get it and take it to island 1's Pokemon Center take it to the scientist. He'll give you a rainbow ticket to access island 4-7. Save Lorelei from being attack by team rocket in Icefall Cave on Four Island then find the Sapphire plate on Six Island and battle the team rocket in the Rocket Warehouse on Five Island. You will fight again the elite four but different and hard pokemon to beat. If you got the aurora ticket(like eon ticket to be given away) you can access island 8-9.

Level up fast in beginning of the game
At the beginning of the game you'll start out with one level 5 Pokemon. You can train it early and, have it at a decent level.

Once you start out with your first Pokemon. Battle Gary at first. (Or whatever you named your rival) Win that battle to level up to level 6. Now you can go into the wild. There walk around in the grass to encounter some enemies. Battle them. At this point of the game this is a great place to level up. Do this until you get "very little" number of EXP after a battle.

Long but Worthy Battle
If you find a Pokemon you want in the wild and you have some Timer Balls, just keep using Growl and all those no damage attacks. Then when the battle has gone on for about a minute, use one Timer Ball. If you didn't catch it, try it in another minute. The stat-weakening attacks will acctually help catch it!

Special Recognition
Once you have collected all 200 Pokemon in this game, go to the Celadon Mansion and the man who is incharge of the Game Freak will give you a diploma.

Repel and Super Repel
Repel and Super Repel will keep all wild Pokemon of a lower level than the first Pokemon in your party from attacking. However, if the wild Pokemon is of the same level or higher, it will attack. Due to the decreased amount of Pokemon to fight, you will have less random encounters. To exploit the use of this, go to a cave with high level Pokemon such as at Victory Road or Union Cave. Use the Repel once inside. Find a boxed-in type of corner and tap the D-Pad gently towards a wall. If done correctly, you will not hear a bumping sound. Doing this should not reduce the number of steps remaining on you Repel counter, because the Repel only counts movement that causes the character to take a step not turning. Just turn into a wall to make it easier for beginners. This trick is useful because you are always facing a Pokemon that is of equal or greater level, allowing you to get levels much faster than usual.

Running Shoes
Follow through Viridian Forest, go to Brock (the first gym leader), and defeat him. Brock has three Pokemon: Geodude level12, Onix level 14, and Geodude level 11. Then, go to the path that leads to Mount Moon's base. Try to go past the man standing slightly past the entrance. He should stop you. He is Professor Oak's assistant. After talking to him, he will give you the Running Shoes.

Your aide will give you the Running Shoes after the first gym.

Silph Scope
Go to the underground path in Lavender Town and it will lead you to Celadon City. Then, go to the Rocket Game Corner. There will be a grunt looking at a poster. Defeat him, then select the poster.

Defeating Blamie
In order to battle Blamie the Fire Pokemon trainer (seventh gym leader at Cinnabar Island), you will need the secret key that is found inside the Pokemon Mansion that will open the door. You should have any Pokemon that are strong enough to withstand Fire attacks such as Flamethrower, Overheat, Firespin, Fire Blast, Flame Wheel, and Ember. Get Water pokemon and teach them Surf any and attaks that will cause poison, confusion, and other statuses to win the battle.

Defeating Giovanni
An easy way to defeat Giovanni in all battles is to use a Water Pokemon with Surf on all his Pokemon.

Get to One Island
To Get to One Island, defeat the Cinnabar Island Gym Leader, Blaine. When you come out, Bill will take you to One Island and give you the Tri-Pass. This will allow you to return at any time by taking the Pass to the boat dock in Vermilion City.

Getting to Saffron City
Go to the Celedon Department Store. Buy all three drinks on the sixth floor. The guard will not let you win. In order to get in go to the Mansion that is next a man talking about hot tea, go to the Right side of the Mansion. Enter, then talk to the old lady. She will give you the Tea, and you can now enter Saffron City.

This trick requires two Game Boy Advances, a link cable, a Pokemon Ruby or Sapphire game with a "Fresh Water" in the pack, and a Pokemon Fire Red or Leaf Green game that is completed and able to trade with Pokemon Ruby or Sapphire. Also, you will need another Pokemon Fire Red or Leaf Green cartridge. Give a Pokemon a Fresh Water. Trade the Pokemon from Pokemon Ruby or Sapphire to the completed Pokemon Fire Red or Leaf Green game. Take the Fresh Water and attach it to a Pokemon not from Pokemon Ruby or Sapphire. Trade it to the other Pokemon Fire Red or Leaf Green game. Give the Fresh Water to the guard. You can now access Saffron City easier. You can also do the same thing without the Pokemon Ruby or Sapphire cartrigde. Also, it works better when you have the completed cartridge and your friend has the unfinished game.

Safari Zone
When you get in the Safari Zone you will need to pay 500 to enter and will receive 30 Safari Balls. You cannot use any Pokemon. All you can use is Ball, Bait, Rock, or Run. Ball is to catch the Pokemon, Bait is to give the Pokemon food, and Rock is to throw a rock make a Pokemon angry. However, they will not use an attack on you.

Unlimited Safari Zone time
Enter the Safari Zone, then walk into an area and stop in the grass Then, tap the D-Pad, but do not move You will find the Pokemon in that area without wasting steps.

Find one location in the Safari Zone that suits you. Then, just rotate in place. Random Pokemon should you attack you every few rotations.

Easy money
To get easy money, use a Meowth with the Pay Day attack in wild or trainer battles.

Finding Selphy
In the Lost Cave, start from the beginning and go right, up, down, down, right, left, down, and right. When she sees you, she will fight with two level 49 Persians. Afterwards you will go to her house and ask to see a Pokemon (Arkanine)

Something new
This is a new cheat i found out. You can get all 386 pokemon level 100. This cheat truly works. I've done it numerous times!

Step 1: First you need to have beaten all 8 gym leaders. Then you need any 2 pokemon level 30 with 4 empty spaces. Make sure that one knows fly.

Step 2: Fly to every city in the order that you got the badges. When you fly to the cities heal your 2 pokemon on every pokemon center.

Step 3: Go to the 7th island and catch an unknown and keep it with you. Next, leave the Sevi islands, and go talk to your mom. When she heals your pokemon, talk to professor oak. He will check you pokedex.

The last step: Save the game and shut it off. After you've turned it back on, go to the nearest Pokemon Center and take out 4 pokemon. There's a specific list you have to have. When you press start to view your pokemon, you should have the level 30 flying pokemon first, the other level 30 second, a level 45 bug type third, a level 50 electric type fourth, and two others as your choice. Now, go defeat the elite 4 using these 6. After you defeat them, instead of professor oak taking you to the hall of fame, you go straight to island 9 where you have to catch deoxys in order to battle him for all 386 level 100 pokemon. But be warned, once on island 9 you can't save. So save before the battle with your rival!

GOOD LUCK!!!

How do you get the Mystery Ticket
Go to any pokemon mart fill out a paper. Link Together With All. The guy will give you the Mystery Gift. Save your game and shut the game off. On your screen above the new game is the Mystery Gift. Go to the Mystery Gift. And go to friend. Go to wireless communication system. After that go back to game. Go to any pokemon center. Go up stairs. And go talk to a guy with the green hat. And he will give you the Mystery Ticket for the mystery gift.

How to get the Three Unique attacks
You have to have gone to the second island. Your pokemon have to trust you enough and you have to have the one of three starters.(only the one you started with can learn these moves. (Frenzy Plant, Hydro Cannon and Blaast Burn)

Wild gastly and haunter(lv40's)
In the Lost Cave, start from the beginning and go right, up, down, down, right, left, down, and right. walk around the room a little untill you find some gastly and haunters in level 40 and higher. i caught a level 44 haunter. this is good for people that like ghost pokemon.

Some tips 4 u
People would usually not really care about the game corner but it can get you some maybe not legendary but some pretty rare pokemon.

When you are getting pretty rich in pokedollars go to cleadon city and buy heaps of coins at the game corner. Yoy need 6,500 coins, but you should play it safe with 7,000. Now go next door into the smaller bulding. At the middle counter go buy a porygon.

Now go to fuschia safari zone. you need at least surf of a super rod. go to the large area of water- the one with the island and start fishing wit your rod.
It may take a couple of tries, but if you are persistent you can catch a dratini (one of dragonites previous evoltions)

Now you have maybe not legendary but rare pokemon.

Elite Four Tip
The Elite Four rely on Hyper Potions and the like. If you are frequently whittling them down to red, then watching them heal back to full, start with a weaker attack. Then, when they hit yellow, hammer them with your best move.
