Unlocking new areas and challengers in Story Mode

In the beginning, you'll only have access to certain areas across the globe and their respective chess players. Defeat your opponents to unlock more areas and opponents.

Conrad Mac Caan	Defeat the first four opponents in Europe
Europe	Defeat the first four opponents in Africa
Fabienne Parson	Defeat the first four opponents in America
Friedrich Lindermann	Defeat Tanor, Fabienne, Conrad, Mazakuza, and Saskaya
Garry Kasparov	Defeat Ibrahim, Manuel, Friedrich, Tenzin, and Sergei
Ibrahim Saradjal	Defeat Tanor, Fabienne, Conrad, Mazakuza, and Saskaya
Manuel Farias	Defeat Tanor, Fabienne, Conrad, Mazakuza, and Saskaya
Masakazu Hojo	Defeat the first four opponents in Southeast Asia
Russia	Defeat the first four opponents in Southeast Asia

Select the black pieces in story mode. Complete your first move, then turn off the game. When that game is resumed, you will have an extra rook on the board.
