When playing this great classic, it very easy to become overwhelmed by the enemy. A simple way to conquer the enemy is to stand on the highest platform, right on top of the teleporter. Doing this will prevent any enemies from spawning at that point. This can be difficult when the top platform disappears later in the levels since the next 2 highest platforms are at the same height;just be careful not to get killed by a sneaky vulture knight that runs off the side of the screen and hits you.
NOTE: The same number of enemies will spawn, just at a different spot.
