Crysis is a PC first-person shooter from Crytek, the next generation, the award-winning developers of Far Cry. Crysis is an amazing technical milestone, combining an incredible appearance with ingenious gameplay and an epic story in which you must adapt yourself to survive. In 2019, a huge asteroid on a stüzt belonging to North Korea island chain. The government of North Korea immediately locks the entire island chain, and claims the secrets of the mysterious asteroid for themselves. The United States respond to the emission of an elite team of Delta Force Operators to assess the situation and report to the Pentagon. Amidst the rising tension between the U.S. and North Korea explodes on the asteroid, revealing a massive, 2km high alien ship. The ship is a mighty power dome, which can freeze a large part of the island and has a dramatic effect on global climate. The invasion of Earth has begun.
