Disable weapons Quickly
To take out the weapons systems quicker you have to take the sensor array out .The sensors are behind the deflector dish ( the blue dish for those of you who aren't trek fans ) on federation and some other ships

Destroying ships Quickly
To Destroy star ships Quickly then aim for their warp core. If this becomes unstable then it WILL Destroy the ship( Keep it guarded at ALL Times )

Take the ship Apart
In bridge commander you can get bored by just Destroying ships but you can Take them apart if you like !!!!!
this method worked out the best

1 . destroy their impulse engines ( so they can't run )
2 . Destroy their sensor array ( so they Can't Shoot )
3 . Take out any other systems that are " in your way"
4 . use the manual aim to take parts off the ship eg warp Nacells ( or engines )

In Game Cheats
While in tactical display mode hit the following keys:

Shift+R: Completely repair target (Useful for when an ally ship gets pounded)
Shift+G: God Mode
Shift+Q: Gain 10 Quantum Torpedoes
Shift+K: Damage targeted subsystem by 25%

Any Level
First right click on the game icon and select properties to bring up a line with the command prompt. At the end of the command line type in "-TestMode" (without quotes). In the game you will see a button that says test only. When clicked you can go to any level in the game.

Cheat Setup:
The cheats listed work only if you type in the Desktop short cut. Right click on the STBC desktop short cut and click on Properties. In the short cut type "C:Bridge Commanderstbc.exe" -TestMode (C being the drive where the game is located). Important! make sure you put a space after the shortcut and then type -TestMode Then restart the computer and launch STBC from the desktop. in the Main Menu the single battle option will be replaced with the word Test. Start the game and go to the exterior view and select Control G in the upper right hand corner of the screen GodMode will appear. The the cheats will listed will then function

Destroy Another Starship
When in tactical mode and cheat already active press: shift + K to destroy any part of another starship (works for enemy and friendly ship's too).
