Add Money
Press [Shift] + 4 to get more money.
Note: Using this cheat will cause your marine tank water to become dirty!

Hidden Mermaid
To unlock the hidden mermaid, place the mermaid statue in one of your marine tanks.

Hidden Unicorn
This code from Zoo Tycoon still works with the expansion pack. Just rename one of your exhibits Xanadu and you will unlock a unicorn in the animal panel. You must rename the exhibit. If you try to name a new exhibit Xanadu, your game will probably crash.

Unlock the Photo Booth
After winning the Shark World scenario, you'll unlock the photo booth. Check your structures menu and it will be there.

After the game automatically names an exhibit, rename it to one of the following entries to get the corresponding animal or effect.

Scared female guests:
Name a male guest rpro.

Scared child guests:

Fix all broken fences:
Name a male maintenance worker Bob V.

Remove foliage and $300 tax rebate:
Name a male maintenance worker George W.

Destroy all buildings:
Name male maintenance worker The Rock.

Halloween zoo:
Set your system date to October 31 and all guests and buildings will turn orange and black. You can also see buy a jack-o-lantern at the buildings and items menu and see a witch fly overhead. Note: The last effects also happen on game date October 31.

Santa Claus:
On game date December 25, Santa Claus will fly overhead.

Christmas decorations:
On game date December 25th, you will be able to buy Christmas Trees and Frosty the Snowman for your zoo.

More money:
Press [Shift] + 4 to get more money. Note: This will also make your water dirty.

Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "zoo.ini" file in the game folder. Scroll to the bottom of the file. The tenth line from the bottom, should read "MSMaxcash 500000". Change that number to any desired money value. You can only use this trick for freeform mode.

Change pointer hand color:
Press [Ctrl] + C.

Triceratops:
After the game names an exhibit, rename it to Cretaceous Corral.

Unicorn:
After the game names an exhibit, rename it to Xanadu.

Ultimate zookeeper:
Select any male zoo keeper and rename him Jonathan Gilmour. You will get a $20,000 donation, enhanced zoo keeper skills. Note: You may first need to install this Trainer file in the game directory.
