Players assume the role of Geralt, a professional monster hunter, who was involved in the political turmoil of the Kingdom of Temeria, as he assisted in the suppression of the Order of the Flaming Rose staged the uprising, and the king from an assassin protected, the fatal to the Sorcerer recalled. In the second part of the epic Geralt plays a key role in the political events. His adventure begins when he makes it his mission to reveal the identity of a group of assassins who are responsible for the deaths of a number of rulers of the northern kingdoms. He is their connection to the wizards on the track, revealing their motives. His investigations take him to the banks of the river Pontar, right into the borderland between Temeria, and Kaedwen Aedrin. Here he is drawn into a conflict that has raged between the major powers in the world.
