Fatality
Choose any character and kill the opponent once. On the next round, get the enemy's energy low and press [R2]. Your character should swing with his/her weapon and hit the enemy. The enemy should squirt blood or be cut in half. For example, Genjuro jumps up, slices down, and cuts the enemy (most of the time in half). Note: You must find out who you are fighting with, because some of the characters will not perform a fatality. Also, some of the characters will not be sliced in half or squirt blood. For example, Galford will not be sliced in half or squirt blood. Ukyo cannot be sliced. One of the girls also will not be a fatality victim, but they may be able to perform a fatality. You can judge if the character can cut them in half or not by the size of his/her sword.

Play as Zankuro
Choose Vs. mode and enter the character selection screen. Highlight Haohmaru, hold [Start], then highlight the following characters in order: Genjuro, Basara, Ukyo, Rimururu, Haohmaru, Shizmaru, Nakoruru, Hanzo, Amakusa, Gaira, Galford, and Shizmaru. Keep Shizmaru highlighted until the timer displays "03". When it reaches "03", press [X] + [Circle]. Zankuro's picture will appear in the center of the screen.

Instant special move
Press [L2] + [R2] after the special meter has filled. Note: If the phrase "Times 2" appears, press [L2] + [R2] twice.
