When Clown tries to jump onto the ring, use jump-kick to kick him in mid-air. This will knock him down, causing no damage to Jackie. It will take quite a few hits to kill him, but it is worth it as Jackie will not lose health. This takes some practice. If you happen to run low on health, kick the lockers, as they all contain take-out boxes.
