Crash Nitro Kart Game Unlockables...

Finish in first place in all sixteen races in adventure mode. This includes the four Boss races as well as the twelve normal races. You will then be challenged by Velo to a race on the Hyper Spaceway track, which will now become unlocked in the other modes.

Accomplish the following tasks to unlock the corresponding FMV sequence at the "Extras" menu.

While doing a power slide, press L1. This not only helps in general racing but also in situations such as Relic Races where getting certain boxes are almost impossible. Also, if you slide boost three times in a row you will get a slide boost combo. This is a much faster boost than a slide boost, and it lasts longer.

To find a shortcut, look for a large red arrow with a yellow outline. Most of these arrows let you go through them (under), the opposite direction, or around them. Be careful, as sometimes when you notice them too late there is not enough time to find or get the shortcut.

After you get to the jumpy thing, use the speed boost but turn left immediately. You will go over lava and onto a snow lump. After you are on that, press R1 to jump on the track.

To get the CNK token letter that you see in the air during this race, after you have gone over the first bridge, find an opening between the end of the bridge and the wall. Drive into the water closest to the wall and you should end up on top. Note: Do not use this as a fast cheat because it takes a while for Aka Aka (or Uka Uka and Emperor Velo) to get you up there.

During this track you will reach three boosts in a row. On the third boost, jump to the right. You should land on a platform. Use this if you want to cut that corner.

Get past the gears that splatter you if you get too close. When you go in the clock tower, do not turn left. Instead, go straight, jump on the gear, then follow the rest of the gears. This helps when you are trying to defeat N. Tropy's ghost.
