Horse Killer	As Marcellus, complete Chapter 5 under the normal difficulty setting very quickly to unlock this weapon.
Jujudormah Ran	Finish the story mode using Jujudormah and reach level 3.
Life And Death	As Jaid, complete story mode under the normal difficulty setting to unlock these deadly claws.
Mighty Club	Defeat over 1,000 opponents in story mode to unlock a weapon for Marcellus. It is called the Mighty Club. It raises his attack power but lowers defense power.
Miyamoto Musashi	Finish Story mode using Normal Soldier and reach Level 3.
Morning Star	As Three Eyes, complete story mode under the normal difficulty setting to unlock this mace.
Nobunaga Sword	As Zombie Warrior, complete Chapter 5 under the normal difficulty very quickly to unlock this sword.
Oni Splitter	Complete story mode as Marcellus under the normal difficulty setting to get this axe-like weapon.
Paladin Sword	As Mega Man, successfully complete Phantom Realm 2 to unlock his Paladin Sword.
Purple Necklace	Collect over 10,000 Souls to receive the Purple Necklace.
Unlock Blue Z-part	Complete Phantom Realm 2 using Megaman EXE.
Unlock Giramusaido	Reach Level 3 with Musaido.
Unlock Gogandantess	Finish story mode using Kaede, Normal Soldier, Maeda Keijirou, and Samanosuke Akechi.
Unlock Green Z-part	Complete Phantom Realm using Megaman EXE.
Unlock Jaido	Reach Level 2 using Normal Genma or Sword Foot Light.

Defeating Nobunaga

When Nobunaga absorbs a magic power orb from a treasure chest, he will most likely absorb it. If he does, do not try to absorb it. The orb will go towards him, and not you. Instead, after he has the orb, hit him by holding R1 and pressing Triangle. His sword should fly up, and the orb should float away from him. While he is stumbling from the hit, quickly absorb the orb then use the magic attack by holding R1 and pressing Triangle. Try repeating this process. Also, you can charge up your weapon by holding R1 and Square for four to five seconds.

Counter attack

Use the counter attack technique by pressing Square immediately before the enemy attacks. This should either kill them or do a lot of damage. It also gives you more orbs if they are killed.

Easy Orbs

After you complete the training stages in tutorial mode, you will receive a Red Orb bonus of about 100 to 200, depending on how well you score. This will help a level 1 character boost his or her stats.

Power Jewels

Power Jewels increase the length of your life bar. They are very useful.
