• Geese: Hold R1 over Billy after winning Level 40 in Time Attack(Challenge).
• Goenitz: Hold R1 over Rugal after winning Level 30 in Time Attack(Challenge).
• King: Beat Single Attack(Challenge).
• KUSANAGI: Hold R1 over Kyo.
• Orochi Chris: Hold R1 over Chris.
• Orochi Iori: Hold R1 over Iori after winning Level 20 in Time Attack(Challenge).
• Orochi Shermie: Hold R1 over Shermie.
• Orochi Yashiro: Hold R1 over Yashiro.
• Shingo: Beat Team Attack(Challenge).

When you play King Of Fighters 2000, Rugal will be one of the strikers. Use Rugal and save the game afterwards. When you go back on King Of Fighters 2002 Rugal should appear. Note: When you start the game you may already have him.
