DRIV3R Cheats for Playstation 2

 

Press at the main menu one of the following cheat codes. A sound and the option will be unlocked at the menu to confirm correct code entry.

At the main menu, enable the "All missions" code. Now, enter the "Undercover" menu and go down to the "View Cutscenes" for Istanbul. Select a movie and watch it. At this time, press Triangle, Circle(2), R1, R2, L1(2). There is no confirmation sound. When you go into the "Take A Ride" menu, Istanbul will be available.



Find the garages and get in the cars in Take a Ride Mode.

• Ford GT-40: In garage of last house on road to the side of the middle bridge. (The short dead end road)
• Fork Lift: In Nice, near Rade De Villegranche-Sur-Mer there is a mitten-shaped area and a finger-shaped area. Find the road at the finger that is not on the map, continue until you are on a dirt road that leads to a garage.
• Hot Rod: Go to the firestation at the airport in Nice located past the runway on the side closest to the roads. In a garage is the car.
• Racer GT (Istanbul): Go to the industrial docks and it will be in a red crate.
• Roadster (Istanbul): Go to the impound lot, it will be in a garage.
• Speedster (Istanbul): Go to the train yard in the southern section of the city. It will be in a building behind a crate.
• Velocity Turbo (Miami): Go to Tico's construction yard. Southeast of that will be a building and on the southern half will be an alley. Down the alley will be the car.
• VW Van: Go to the spot on the map where there are two roads in a circle. There is a small hill with small streets going up. Drive to the top of the hill and go down the ramp. Open the grey/black garage door to the right of the ramp.

Kill all 10 Timmy Vercellis in Miami. Go to the Miami armory to the "18 Wheeler Havoc" option.



Kill all 10 Timmy Vercellis in Nice. Go to the Miami armory to the "Fugitive Mode" option. All pedestrians have weapons in this mode.



Find the hidden bunker entrance in the bushes behind the Biltmore hotel. Climb the stairs, kill Timmy Vercelli, then hit the switch to open the gate below. Drive through the tunnel to the Go-Kart track. If the kart isn't there, leave and return later



Kill all 10 Timmy Vercellis in Istanbul. Go to the Istanbul armory to the "Infinite Mass" option. Tanner's car or motorcycle can hit any other vehicle without stopping or being damaged in this mode.



Beat Mission 11: Smash 'n' Run in Nice, France.



Beat Mission 4: Rooftops in Miami, Florida.

DRIV3R ItemsAfter the countdown to start, turn the car around and drive in the opposite direction. Go to the first road on the right and follow it. Try not to get hit by the cops, as it will slow you down. A short distance up that road is a parking garage on the right. Go inside and go all the way to the top level. Try not to have any cops follow you. You can go the very top level and just park at the corner. The cops will not go up there, and the timer just keeps ticking.



This will work on any level. During Take A Ride mode when the cops are not after you, pull out your gun and start shooting people. Once you see a cop coming towards you on your radar, quickly put your gun away. The car will stop in the middle of the street and the two officers will get out. One of the officers will stand by the car while the other wanders off. Keep both of them in sight for about a minute (without pulling out you gun or stealing a car). One of them will start shooting at people for no reason. Sometimes both of them will shoot.



Select Take A Ride moide. Get a cop on your tail. Get a short distance from the cop. Stop and get out of the car. Walk directly behind your car facing the cop with any gun out. If done correctly, the cop should drive at full speed at you and kill you.



When running away from the cops, weave in and out of traffic and poles and trees. The cops will not be able to keep up because they will crash.



Drive the Go-Kart in Miami and look for a moving or stationary car. Slowly run into the car with the Go-Kart. The Go-Kart will go under the car. This is useful for going past a car.



You can hook and unhook your trailer from the cab during game play. If you choose the semi when starting, look near the starting point for a trailer. Back into the trailer to hook it up. To release the trailer press (Reload).



Press [Circle] or [R3] to burnout.

For a very long burnout, at a complete stop press (Right Analog-stick Down), then pull it back. Doing this will let you burnout for as long as desired. You can go faster by slowly pushing the "Analog-stick Forward".



Press [R1] or [L3] for the horn.



When driving a vehicle, hold [L1] + [R1] to activate the Thrill Cam. It is a camera that watches from a distance and motion blurs the view.



Enable the "Invincibility", "All weapons" and "Unlimited ammunition" codes. Then, get an Uzi and shoot a car's engine until it catches on fire. You can also use a shotgun and shoot it just over ten times. After it is on fire, jump in and the "Invincibility" code will cause the flames to stop. Drive about 20 meters away from the car or cops to blow up. Jump out of the car and it will roll and blow up.



Go to Take A Ride mode and choose the 18 Wheeler. Start driving fast and head onto the wrong side of the road. When you see a car coming towards you, ram it head-on. Then, get out of the vehicle and you can see that the driver of the car you rammed died on impact. Note: Try to back your truck back onto the correct side of the road because the cops will arrive to investigate the accident. If you keep driving on the wrong road they will come after you.



Note the cheat will only work on take a ride with no cops on. In miami go to the police station and go in from the back and stand behind the police officer and shoot him in the head and then your cop bar will be full.



In nice go to the airport (via Base), go down the runway on the left hand side go down til there is a turning on your left, go down there to the garage on the left, walk up to it, it will open and there it is a plymoth prowler.

If you clip a lorry and then you want to unclip it press o, I'm very proud. this is not my real name i like to hide my real name i feal embarrsed.



In Take A Ride mode, when you drive correctly sometimes an annoying person gets behind you and constantly beeps their horn. If this annoys you, you can back-up and ram your rear end into the front end of their car to destroy the horn.



Get your felony meter filled. The cops will start carrying shotguns. Kill the cops and take their shotguns to get one. Note: In order to always start Take A Ride mode with the shotgun you obtain, go to "Quit Game" after you get one then go to "Profiles" on the main menu and select "Save Profile".



Allow the game to idle for over a minute and Tanner will pick his nose.



In the same area where Timmy Vermicelli is in the lookout building on stilts and the jump, continue down that road, to the right. Go past the crane and go left. Stop at the containers. The hidden car is in the second red container. The car is difficult to get into, but it is possible to enter it.



You can raise and lower the drawbridge. Go into the little buildings at either end of the bridge. Walk up to the controls and press Action [L1].



Wait at a tram station for one to arrive. Walk through its door and you can ride it around the city, shooting out of the open windows if desired.



Begin at Tanner's house and look at the map. Go onto the first big bridge seen on the map. In the middle of that bridge, follow the first street to the right. Enter the garage at the end of that street to find a car that resembles a Ford GT-40.



Drive to Coral Gables and find the Biltmore Hotel, located opposite the water tower. Look in behind the bushes in the backyard to find a bunker entrance. Drive through it then climb up the stairs. Kill Timmy Vercelli then activate the switch to open the gate below. Drive into the next area and through the long tunnel. Once you exit, drive directly ahead to the Go-Kart track. You can find a Go-Kart in the pit area. Note: If it is not here, leave, then return later.



Goto the safehouse near Little Havana, the motel room. Take the short road that leads directly south in front of the safehouse. Take a left at the end and look for a small unmarked sideroad on your right. Follow this into the construction area from one of the undercover missions. Follow this road to the end where it turns right. Make a quick left and then another left when you come to the edge of the water. Look to the left in a small alley near the brick building on your left for a car that resembles a Shelby Cobra.



In Miami, go to Coral Gabes and face the front of the huge hotel.If you are facing the front turn right and keep going. You should find yourself in a grassy area with a sewer on one side go through it. You will find yourself in a square withe some stairs around the side. Go up the stairs with the two layers. And kill the Timmy Vermicilli. Inside then press the gate control button and pass into the next square. Then on the left of you there should be a road sloping up, pass through and go straight forward towards the rocks, Then go left and continue going you should eventually find a race track. And a go-kart. Have fun but don't die as it is quite tricky to get there.



In miami near the very short tram line ther is a building that the tram line goes intoif you go around the outside of the building and behind some bushes you will find a pit fall into the pit (with a moterbike to get around quiker) if you look upwards you will see a map of miami run to your moterbike (you will fall off it when you enter the pit)and ride to where ever you wish to get to without cops , cars or buildings in your way and after a certain amout of time you will rise to the surfice of your destination. (but please make sure you have infinate health cheat on or you will die)



First of all, go to the airport in Nice and go to the red dot on the map that looks like a gun aim. That is your warehouse. Anything you shoot in there blows up. Shoot the TV loads of times, maybe the sofa..... ahh, but shooting the shelfs has gotta be best. If you go in the corner of the room, there is four health packs and some ammo. Enjoy!



In Miami, go to Dodge Island and when you're crossing the bridge you will see a building on either side of the bridge. Open the door and go up the stairs. Press the action button (L1) on the switch to make the bridge go up. Press it again to make it go back down.



First u have to beat the game.Then u go get the go-cart then get the lap time under 1:15 then save and chose the go-cart for ur choosing car then go to your house and press L1+R2,circle, circle, triangle, square. then repeat this twice realy fast. then its unlocked



In Nice, go to the airport. Near the east entrance to the underground parking lot, go to the right of it. You will fall through the ground, but the parking lot will be different. You must have invincibility on for this to work. This is great for if losing cops because they either die from falling down or you can walk away than float back to the surface.



This cheat is AMAZING go to instable with the invincible cheat on and all weapons cheat on(no cops would help as well).use the uzi and shoot a car bonet until it catches fire. THE CAR IS GOIND TO BLOW UP! get into the burning car BEFORE it blows up.it will blow up with you inside it!if you put the invincible cheat on you will not die. no cops will stop your felony meter rising. you will have to get the timing just right for this cheat to work.

Set a car on fire (above) but this time get into the car and accelerate.the car will appear to have full damage but you can drive it just like a normal car. i no, this cheat is AWESOME!



Beat Mission 8: Dodge Island in Miami, Florida.



Beat Mission 7: Trapped in Miami, Florida.



Beat Mission 13: Hijack in Nice, France.



I am very proud of this cheats because I found all these cars by myself and not looking in any magazines or web-sites.

Miami:
1:) Go Cart: Head to the 'Coral Gables' at the end of the map. There should be a rectangular shaped road with a big building at the end of it there. Head towards the big building and you should eventually come to a crossroads. Turn right at the crossroads and just go straight and you will go through through a big gap in the wall ahead of you; keep on going until you see an entance to an underground passage way; like a sewer type place. Go through through here and once through the other side you should see a set of stairs to your left that lead you to a door on the wall in front of you, you should also see a closed gate in front of you. Go up the stairs and follow the walkway to that door (the door has a sign that says 'Gate Control' next to it); go through the door and kill the 'Timmy Vermicelli' behind the barrells, and then press the switch on the wall. Head back out the way you came in and the gate that was closed should now be opened. Head through it and you should come to another courtyard type place, turn left and follow the the route through. At the end of the route there should be a big hole in a fence in front of you, go through the hole and you shoud see a race track in front of you, turn left and find the start of the race track and in the 'pit area' there should be a little go-cart that you can drive. Once you get in the go-cart another go-cart will come along awho you will be able to race. Once you start to race around the track a timer should appear at the top of the screen to create a fun little mini game as well!

2:) Sports car: To my amazement, my Dad actually found this secret, and my dad dosen't play video games! On the bridge that has one of your safehouses along it, there should be a little road just before it (still on coming off the bridge) that has a dead end. Go down this road and there should be a garage at the end of it which should open automatically when you are in close proximity of the door. In the garage is a really fast sports car.

Nice:
1:) Forklift: Right at the south east end of Nice, there is a longish strip of grass land that, according to the map, has no roads on it. Go to that area and there will be a road on it. Follow the road until you reach a road coming off of it sloping upwards, head up that road and there should be a garage in the corner of a garden. Go up to the garage and the doors should open automatically when you are close enough. Inside there is a forklift that actually works! press the circle (or 'Burnout') button to make the fork go up and down. And Yes you can flip cars over with it!

2:) Bad Hand's Van (Hippie Van): Go to the place called 'Cagnes Sur Mer' at the North West of Nice. There should be a series of winding roads sloping upwards. Make your way up the hill until you reach the very top. You have to speed up the last hill that you go up as you have to jump over a wall that blocks cars from going any further, or you can just walk through the archway at the top. Once at the very top, look around until you find a garage. Once you have found the garage, go up to the door and it should open automatically, inside the garage is a Hippie VW type van that you will recognize as Bad Hand's Van if you have got to that mission in Undercover.

Note:Once you have driven a secret car or killed a 'Timmy Vermicelli' the game won't autosave your free ride data so REMEMBER TO SAVE TO YOUR PROFILE MANUALLY OR YOU WILL HAVE TO KILL ALL OF THE 'TIMMY VERMICELLIS' AGAIN! Also, if you save your data once you have driven a secret vehicle then you will be able to start Take a Ride mode with that vehicle and won't have to go around looking for it again!



Go to the Airport on NICE level and go passed the safehouse then further on there should be a sort of fire station (its just garages with red doors on it) the door closest to the safehouse the one on the left contains a BLACK HOTROD WITH COOL PURPLE FLAMES ON IT.



head towards the trainstation which is the red line go on the railway lines and follow the one furest to the left and follow it all the way round untill you come to another station which is scruffy.there is a train shed to your left when you come over the bridge look inevery one of them behind the big containers and you will find a hidden car..
