Get your Sim's relationships to 100 with everyone. Every time you raise another relationship to 100, you will unlock a new article of clothing.



Unlockable locations in The Sims 2:

• Alien Crash Site: You must help XY-XY. To do this, just keep fulfilling his aspirations and make him friends with Jonas. This will unlock The Bio-Dome.
• Bio Dome: Have Noel complete one full career.
• Cliffside Retreat: Fulfill all of Isabella's Wants and make her happy. Note: It may be difficult and take some time to get her to make a sandwich.
• HMS Amore: Fulfill all of Betty's Wants until she is platinum. She will then tell you where the next location is. One of her wants will be to marry Captain Nelson.
• Jugen House: Here you fulfill Toothless Joe's aspirations until your Sim gets "Visit New Location" as one of their aspirations. Then, go back to Tranquillity Falls and your aspiration will change to "Help Chantal". To do this, just keep fulfilling her wants until she is platinum (a job in Art). This will unlock the Alien Crash Site.
• Mesa Gallery: Help Hector complete his gold goals at HMS Amore
• Orbit Room: First, become friends with Red S, then serve him some food. Once you have done that, move back to Sunset Canyon and make Red S and Helga fall in love and get married. Red S will now live there, and you can control him. Do whatever is needed to get Red S in a platinum mood. He will tell you how to get to Tranquillity Falls. Alternately, help Billy complete his gold goals at Sunset Canyon or have Phil complete one full career.
• Rockwall Acres: Simply follow the instructions given to unlock this area.
• Shoreline Trails: Buy a Foosball Table. When a Want that described as "Beat Torin at Foosball" appears, wait for Torin to play, then click the "Challenge" option and defeathim.
• Sunset Canyon: Bring Helga, Billy, and Sheila back to life, build a kitchen, clean up the mess, build a bathroom, and give them beds to sleep in. They will then tell you the next location.
• Tranquillity Falls: This level is rather easy. To move onto the next level, you must fulfill all of Larry's wants to put him in a platinum mood, and do the same with Chantal. After both are in a platinum mood they will tell you where Jungen House is located, and it will be unlocked.
• Unlock new locations: complete all of your Gold and Platinum goals. Do not worry too much with the Green ones. You also need to complete your roommate's Gold and Platinum goals (usually one or two roommates per house).

Get your Friendship level up to 80 or 90. If the background is very red and blurry, select "Be on" the socialize menu and go to a bed. Select "Relax", then choose the bed again. Select "Woo whoo" once, then press Circle to get out of the bed. Select "Socialize" and if you are in love, select "Propose" and hope that the other Sim says yes.



To master the Business career you must have Body at level 9, Logic skill at level 9, and Charisma skill at level 7.

When you need some money and own a "Defective Arcade Genie Lamp" you can keep making wishes and you will get money eventually. However, the genie can also cause fire and make all the characters in the area of the lamp to pee themselves if you make him mad. When he is mad he will come out of his lamp with red colored smoke beneath him. However, if he is giving you something good the smoke will be purple or pinkish. It is best to perform this when you first get a house so that you can get your money and not risk losing any items you have purchased. Note: If you talk with the genie, he gives you small advice and hints occasionally.



There is more than just the food you can make. For example, there is food that give your skills a boost, food that helps you in love (romance Sims only for their goals), and food not in the list. For example, you can make a pizza.



Get a job for everybody that lives with you. Then, enable the "Advance time by 6 hours" code and send them to work. Before they come back, enable the "Advance time by 6 hours" code again. Do this every day before the people come back. Note: You cannot do this when you are a ghost.



Delete some walls so the game thinks it is outside. Get a pine tree and put it inside.



To know when there is going to be a neighbor passing your house, look in the street to the far right. When a neighbor is going to appear, you will see the shadow of a person with its arms and legs out on the right of the street.



To raise your Power, Fun, and Comfort at the same time, power nap on a couch with a television or radio on nearby.



Dangleberries can be harvested in the Sproutch Couch.
Other fruits are harvested on a Frood Tree.
Golden eggs can be received from Chicken Checkers game.
Fish can be harvested from the Manilla 1000 Aquarium
Some vegetables can be harvested from the GenoLife Garden Hutch.



To raise your Social, Energy, Fun and Comfort at the same time, power nap on a couch with a television or radio on nearby and another Sim sitting beside the Sim you are controlling.

The Chess Table can also be a Paper Football Table. Have one Sim try to score on the other Sim by shooting the Paper Football through the other Sim's fingers (like a field goal). This raises Fun.

Buy an Expresso Machine. Three cups of expresso raises your energy level to full. Always buy the bathroom stalls and put them near the Expresso Machine (remove any extra bathrooms). Also buy the Floating Bathtub and put it near the kitchen and toilets. The Floating Tub increases Hygiene, Fun, Comfort, and Social (when another Sim joins you).

Put Stereos all around the house. Whenever your Sim walks by one, their Fun level will automatically start to increase without dancing. Put one in your kitchen, by the restroom stalls, by the hot tub, and by your couch. Even if you power nap, the radio will still increase your Fun level.

To keep your Room motive high, clear out all the interior walls and just have one huge room. Delete any extra bedrooms and bathrooms. You do not need them. No matter how much trash builds up in the house, your room level will always be high. If you are at a house with three or four separate rooms, just connect them all and take down the dividing walls. Make sure to hire a maid or you will live in a sea of trash.



Use Ostrich Lemon, Yogurt, and Broth on the stove This meal will have a constant high shine to it when it comes out.



To be able to skip promotions while applying for a new job, you must first get your Sim (for example, Noel) promoted to the top of a career of your choice (level 10). Then, when applying for a new job with somebody else (for example, Wooster), find the one you chose with your first character. Depending on your relationship with him, you will be able to get a higher level job.



Start with three lovers (preferably ones you can control in the house). Walk your Sim and their lover into the bedroom with the Love Bed then remove the doors. Make your Sim relax then call your lover to join you. Do the Woohoo and replace the door. As your lover gets out of bed, call over your next lover. When the first one leaves and the next one enters, remove the door and do the same thing. All the Sims must be in a good mood for this to work. You can stay in the bed and have three Woohoos in a row without getting out of the bed.

When helping another Sim advance their career, they also need friends (for example, Noel at the Biodome). Move back to a house where you can control three or more roommates and invite Noel over. When he shows up, make the roommates talk to him until they are friends and keep doing this until he has enough friends. Then, move back to the Biodome so that he can continue going to work and getting his promotions.



Make them get into the hot tub three or four times before they start talking. While they are in the hot tub, build a solid wall around them so that Nelson cannot escape. Then, have Betty make a plateful of Harvested Fruits and give a plate to Nelson. He must to be in a good mood or else he will not socialize easily. Then use the "Tell a joke" option until you get the "Hit on" option. Then, use the "Serenade" and "Make out" options alternately until you get the "Propose" option.



Make a little 4x4 room and put a fireplace in it. Then, place a bin in front of the fireplace. In the last reaming square you will need to place a door. Afterwards, as fast as possible, quickly get the bills, hold them in your hand, and run in the little room. After awhile the bin will catch alight and so will you eventually. When you die. your bills turn to ash with you. Therefore you will not have to pay them. To return to life, either challenge the Grim Reaper in a fiddle contest or pay him 100 Simoleons. You can find him in the garden near the road after you die.

Go outside and get your bill. Once you get it out of the mailbox, quickly press [Circle]. Do not fast forward. Just before the bill touches the ground, press [Start]. Buy any chair and place it under your bill. Your bill will disappear. You will no longer have to pay the bill. Sell your chair to get your money back.



Kill yourself, the easiest way to do this is tape down the fast forward button and go take a walk or eat a snack. in about 15 minutes your sim should be dead and wont have to go work. you can also scare people. If you want to come back to life simply consult the reaper around your house.



There are a few ways to get easy friendship, my favourite is using a bed. First buy a double bed and when you greet someone immediatly go the the bed and relax, call over the other sim and they will talk automaticly. Once your friendship is a bit higher you can "cuddle" and as you progress more "whoohoo". This should get your friendship to 100 pretty easily, although you may find it wierd having guy+guy haha, or maybe not :D



Follow these basic steps to make a room where a Sim can just hang out. First, make your house simple with a bedroom with beds one square apart against the wall that has the outside on the other side. Then, put a simple closet door between the two beds. Make that door go into a room that is 4x4 squares apart. On the opposite side of the closet door, put another door, and cover it up with a tall bureau on one side and a bureau one square in front. Then, make a spooky hallway that leads to a fun, secret room. Finally, put a deck floor for the hallway, rug for the closet, and rug for the hallway. Also, do not put lights in the closet or scary lights in the hallway. Note: Do not over stuff the secret room or there will be a fire.
