Note that when the monsters level up, although their max HP increases, they will retain the HP they started out with. This makes it much easier than expected to kill them. Also note that letting the levels of the enemies get out of hand may signal a game over, as while they retain their HP, their stats will still increase. This makes it much harder to damage them, let alone hit them. Keep someone at the Geocrystal to destroy it if the need arises.
