In the offseason when you are resigning free agents, there is a very effective way of saving lots of money for free agency without being cheap and changing stats. This will also work with turning slow players into the 2B or SS position and resigning them, or turning small players into the C or 1B position and resigning them.

If u put David Wright (3b) Jose Reyes (SS) everybody on the mets team u and edit them to be the best they will be better than any one even if u make them the best because of the talent that they have will become more awesome and they will stay longer and the reason that they r better is because they have so many going to be hall of Fame so they just make them that good and how good they were before and put them together and that is why they make them the best even if you fill everybody else's bar all the way so if I were you and you wanted the best team than fill everybody bar all the way up and no one can beat them no matter what but you do have to play as them every game and put the pitchers as pinch hitters for hitters that are getting really really tired because then they can hit homeruns.



When you start Career mode, play as a switch hitting catcher. Improve your Contact (Left and Right), Power (Left and Right) and your Speed and nothing else until you are out of the minors or spring training. You are not called on a lot to throw out runners because most of the time the hitters will hit pop-ups or lay down bunts.



There is a rookie pitcher on the Boston Red Sox with the name "Tate Baik". He is actually Daisuke Matsuzaka.



Use the following trick to get easy stolen bases in Career mode. When you are on second base with two outs, the man covering the base is far behind. Tap R1 to step out. Keep tapping R1 until the runner goes for third base. The pitcher will throw to second base, then they will throw to third. You will have time to reach base safely. Sometimes the pitcher will step out and will not throw the ball. If that happens, press L1 to return to second base.
