Madden NFL 08 Cheats

Start a franchise with the trade deadline off. Sim or play the season to Week 17. Find out which team has the worst record. Trade your first draft pick for their first pick and they will always accept. Note: You can also do this with second through seventh draft picks as well.

First, all you have to do is find one of your most valuable players after week 17 in franchise mode, and make sure he did not make the pro bowl. Trade him for a 1st and 2nd pick in next years draft. Then edit that same player you traded to where he has a different position, such as a defensive end made into a left tackle. This hint works best for running backs, offensive linemen, defensive linemen, and free or strong safeties with low catching, such as 80 or less. Try to stay away from using a wide receiver because of their catching. I personally believe the best to use is a linebacker because they get so good so quick, and you are allowed to change them into a running back therefore their break tackle and carring should be some what low. After you have finished your season in franchise mode, it will ask you to advance to owner mode off season. Hit yes and then do all your normal staffing and pricing and stadium upgrades and what ever you want to do, then save your game. After you have saved your game advance to the 2nd version of the offseason, scroll down to team info. or stats and info. , i honestly can't remember what it is called but i believe it is 6 clicks down. Click on that and select NFL draft preview, there you can look at the incoming draft class without having to wait for half an hour while the game updates roles and free agency. you can also clear your cap penalties, it takes down your team morale and prestige but if that extra cap room can get you better players to win with then you will be fine. In order to do this go to the same screen as view NFL draft class and there should be an option that says team info. , click on that and hit the circle button and it will clear your dreaded cap penalties.

Make sure you have all the desired players from that league on your team before the last game (championship). You will not be able to get the players if you win the championship because you will move on to the next league.

On defense, after the offense comes out of the huddle, go offsides until the QB sais set. After the play there will be no flag!

When you go to mini camp beat a game all the way up to all-madden once you beat it you will keep on getting that players gold card. Keep on trying even if you win the more times you win the more gold cards you will get of that person. Then in madden cards sell them to get better cards in better packs.

This glitch has worked in every Madden for PS2 since owner mode was created. Set your advertising budget as high as you like and play or sim your game. You can sim all games in a week except Monday Night Football, do not sim the Monday night game. Now go back into owner mode and set your advertising back to zero, then sim any remaining games on the schedule for that week. You will get the added attendance and revenue of advertising but will not have to pay for it. Obviously this does not work if you are hosting Monday Night Football.
