This works with any team. Whay you do is before you start manager mode, the team you want just tranfer some good players on the team that you are selecting. (I would pick theese two players Ronaldo (ManchesterUnited) Ronaldiho (Barcelona). This will Make you have lots of money if you are struggling.

Midfield is easy because you can stay up front like a striker or go in to defence if you prefere defending and the tasks will be easier.

If you are going to start manager mode then use these players in the 4-3-3 formation.(Before going to manager mode, go to club transfers and move all of the players needed to your team that you are going to use)

DON'T be fooled by Rafael Sobis of Real Betis. - He only gets +3 overall to 89 after 6 seasons then falls down so he's not worth £11 Mill.

When you pick your first season team, you should stay with them for at least 3 seasons, because if you quit before that, you wont be able to go any other good team.

When in manager mode and you are in need of some quick cash here is the best solution.
"Buy" off the free agent list.you dont actually have to pay a transfer fee.You just pay him really really high wages.You can then keep the player(if you can afford his weekly pay) or sell him straght away for a huge profit.

I was playing as Sydney FC(low budget), so i "bought" 3 guys off the free agent list.(You do have to pay their wages for at least a week or until you can sell them)I then sold these 3 guys for about $10 or $15 million each.

This will work with any club on the game, even the rich ones like Real Madrid or Man Utd.

In Manager mode, access the experience points menu. Near the top of the screen is an option you can toggle if you wish to have the experience points spent automatically. Turn the autospend off. Save up until you have about 40,000 experience points, or roughly a third of a season. Then, go back into the menu where you spend your points. You can spend a lot more points in one go. This makes it easier to decide what aspects of a player to upgrade. When you have 40,000 experience points, turn on the auto spend. The CPU spends the points better if there are more to spend.

To get the most out of corners, aim towards where the most people are (slightly to your left if you are taking it from the right side of the pitch and vice versa) then set it to full power by holding Circle. As soon as it comes in, keep tapping Circle and someone will header it in.

When the goal keeper throws the ball to a defender, quickly tackle the defender and hold L1 and press Circle. Almost always this will chip the keeper, as he cannot get back to the line in time. This makes for a good replay, and also works from half way if you can time it correctly.

On your first season upgrade your scout to 10 and scout africa You'll see a player called M.Omoboe he'll go up to 86+

In bayern Munich there will be a player called something Kroos (I forget) he is 64 and is 17 yrs old but he goes upto 87

This is the new and improved best team young team ever!

There are heaps more young talented players out there. The best way to find them on manager mode is to go on transfers and see how much they are, if they cost more than you would expect for their rating then chances aree they are going to improve quite drastically. Take dos santos from barcelona for example. His rating in the first season is only 74 or somthing, but he cost like 5 mil pounds. The secret is that he grows to to really good after a few seasons.

he starts at 73 and at the end of 5 seasons is about 90.

he starts about 74 and goes up to 88 or something at the end o 5 seasons.

Cm: Yoann Gourcuff from AC Milan
he goes from 73 to around 85.

The best thing is to try and find young players that play in either under 19 or under 21 for their country. you can find this out fronm wikipedia if you can be bothered. :)

If you scout with a #10 scout in the UK you will find a guy called david milner get him he grows to around 90 in his fifth or fourth season.

Love Cristiano Ronaldo and you can't get enough of him? well..now u can..simply start you're career as a manager for clubs other than Manchester United (i suggest R.MADRID) and played until you reach the third season..and at the first tranfer window..buy Cristiano Ronaldo for 37 mill...i know its a little costly but hey..good stuff ain't coming cheap...and suprise suprise..he had improved his overall skills to 97..and i know he plays as a winger but..you can also make him a RF ( Right Forward) and doesnt changed his overall skills..GOOD!! And you want a good GK..i suggest Casillas (R.MAD) and Petr Cech(chels) cause both of them are doin very well (93 max) if u played as Real Madrid's manager..you can get Aguero for even cheaper than Ronaldo but..your rival club..Atletico..will never do you a favor..

Before starting the Manager Mode, make many created players and fill them up for 99 (max) each...and after starting your season..sell those players..make sure you created a young player so that he will be more expensive( i suggest borned on 1986)..you will be able to sell them for 42 to 71 mill each..but if u want to make sure that you sell them for the maximum amount..make sure you play them first and fill up their morale to 99 and walla...71 mill for each player in your pocket..good luck..

Before startin off the season as a Manager. Edit your players first. Upgrade all your players to the maximum....and make them as young as they could be..if u can afford their salary..and after that u can watch your team winning all matches and dont even bother losing..when youre out of money...just sell your players...easy right?

On my first season for Arsenal, i upgraded my scout to 10 and then searched the America's....the scout then came back with a 18 year old called Kyle Bridge...he is 64 overall but grows to 86...he is a great prospect....

Using any team in Manager mode is fine, but the amount of money plays a major part in this.

After selecting a team you need hire the best training coach possible (10/10)
This will earn experience ponts very fast and your players will evolve dramatically.

Then, with the transfer window open, look to buy young but high overalled players (85+)
- do a specific search for 16 - 19 year old players with a overall higher than 85.

This will result in a few very good potential stars.

I bought C.Moses aged 19 ovrl 88. Now aged 23 he is 96 ovrl.

GK - Kameni aged 24. By the age of 30 overall 98!

other potential stars include Nani - Anderson - Nasri - Bale - Laquait - Podolski and Lennon.

REMEMBER - 10/10 training coach.

When you start a new manager mode go to add team get your created it will say select 4 teams for friendly matches the computer will show up the coca-cola leagues 1,2 and championship don't seclect them scrole along to the premiership league select 4 teams play them and win and you will be in the barclaycards premiership.

When the opposition has just won a penalty and their player is getting ready, press right on the right anolog stick, and your goalkeeper should bounce along his goal line. Then in between the players run up and his contact with the ball, bounce back to the middle and then dive (circle and left annalog stick) to the far left hand side. It works about 90% of the time.

If you are playing this in england and you start off with the starting price on your team in pounds well when you start it before you do any thing go in to your office and switch currentcy in dollars and you will have double the amount you started off with.

Buy Kun Aguero (Atletico Madrid) at any price. Originally a Centre forward rated around 97 stick him in defensive center midfield and his rating goes to 102!

First Transfer C. Ronaldo and W. Roney to Toronto F.C (Major League Soccer) and start the manager mode with the same team. Then check their ratings. Now Ronaldo is 94 and Roney is 96!!!

In manager mode, if your players are tired, you can save the game (you have to save manual, autosave dosn't work) and quit then load the game again and your players will be fresh;-). (works about 70% of the time)

Want To Have Those Top Class Players In You Team But Can't Afford Their Wages??? This Is Easily Solved.

Before You Start You Manager Career Transfer Those Players You Want To Either To The 'A' League or 'K' League. That Way When You Go To Buy Them Their Wages Will Be Done To About 5-10 Thousand A Game Instead Of The 80+ A Game.

It Also Helps If You Create A Few Players And Up Their Stats All The Way Up So That Way You Can Sell Them To Pay For The Players You Really Want.

After 5 seasons in manager mode scot in england for a play called chav feeney. He starts at 69 but after a few seasons he goes up to 92.

Get your scout up to 10 in 1st season, then Send him out evrywhere in the world. There are some potential stars in evry place.

Also...buy from Brazilian league anyone under 22 and over 75...lots of cheap potential stars.

The player Job Ivock from the italian club "Ascoli" is very good in the finishing.
He works very well with Vonlanthen who plays in "Palmeiras" I think(I am not sure but he is the only player in the game with this name).

Start manager mode as ipswich town and sell pablo counago and then you can sign any players for free and they have no salay my team is amazong.

If you are struggling for a right/left back, put nani (manchester united) in that position, his rating goes up 8!

After a few seasons he had a rating of 96 for me then i put him in left back and it went to 104.

You can put nani in any position (apart from gk) and his rating will go up or stay the same.

The size of reward earned in Challenge Mode depends on the team you used for the challenge. Use a club with a lower star rating than your opponent to maximise the points awarded for success.

Be chelsea fc in manager mode and sell frank lampard, andriy shevchenko, john terry, shaun wright phillips and didier drogba you should of aquired at least 125 million pounds next go on to the free agents list there should be 2 players with there overall 75+ keep them until your third season and then sell them for at least 30 mil each you should now have over 200mil to spend on players of your choice. this will only work with chelsea on ps2.

Well if you are lookin for a Left midfield player that plays like David Beckham but play on the left then J.Rothen is your man with amzing cross' and long balls to forwards to letch on to!

If your playing with man utd you must notice the team is not too good, especially the right and left backs. Here's a way to get the best team. Make a formation 4-1-2-1-2 base. Put the CDM more forward to make it a CM and push up the right and left backs to make them wing backs. Now do the forward and defensive run thing and assign it to man utd. Then, go to my squads and edit the squads. This is how it should look like:

When the commentator says the name of the person in possession of the ball, they say 'Geremi' for Geremi and Martins.

On fifa 08 if you would like to start a made up team on manager mode, do the name and stuff then press X the English teams come up, move the the cursor so it highlights a team from the premier league or whatever league you want to be in eg league 1 and then press Square your team will come up press X and it will make a weird noise the expectations for the season comes up and you should play a team like fulham.
