Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 ItemsThere is a secret debug feature allowing free movement of the camera (game is paused). To use it, load any level from the skate shop, and watch the moving eyeball at the bottom-left corner of the loading screen. When the eyeball stops moving for the third time, press and hold START until the level is finished loading. It is hard to time the third pause, as it is extremely short, unlike the first two pauses, which are relatively long. The game will be paused and in "camera mode" if done correctly: left analog stick pans camera, right analog stick moves camera left/right and forward/backward (like most first-person shooters), and R1/R2 moves camera up/down. You will need to reset the Playstation 2, as there is no way to exit this mode.

While a level is loading, rapidly press Start. When the level finally loads, you will be stuck in a perpetual pause where you have complete control over the camera. Use the Analog-stick and other buttons to "fly" the camera through the paused level. The controls are similar to those used on a Macintosh when viewing a 3DMF file.



To get a perfect record for a skater, enable the following codes in order: "Level select", "All characters", "All FMV sequences", and "Cheat menu".



Enter Riley Hawk or Spencer Hawk as a name at the create a skater screen and their stats will appear.

Turn up on the screen once, go across the quarterpipe and ride the rail. Immediately jump up on the white rail in the air and ride it until you get the secret tape. Once you obtain it, do a 50/50 grind to get down.

Enable the "Moon physics" cheat and go to the place where the last pick-pocket is located. Run him down, go up the quarterpipe and ollie up onto the highest rail. Do any type of grind to get the 411VM tape.



At the start of the level, go right. Jump forward and go through the tunnel. You will hear a photo sound and the "X-Ray" gap message will appear. Follow the black line (band). You will see a chopper in front of you. Jump forward to the chopper's blade. The "Adios Chopper!" gap message will appear, and the chopper will start to take off.



Skate to the woods in between the broken bridge and the plank leading to the halfpipe. Immediately before the start of the plank (looking at it), look to the left at the snow. There are letters in yellow that say "Neversoft rules!" in the snow. You have to look carefully, because it blends in with the snow.



Go to where you can make the halfpipe up. Do not make it go up. Instead, do a grab move. When you are about to land, press Revert. Keep doing this. Note: More points will be awarded if you are doing a special.



Enable the "Perfect rail" and "Super stats" cheats. Go to the pool and get lots of speed. Start grinding the outside of the pool. Since there are a lot of women around that area, they will keep giving you prop thus enhancing your score. Since you have a lot of speed you will go over the gap where the water slide is located and also increase your score. You can do this as long as desired.



There is a pool at the start of the level. Move forward on the right side of the pool and you will see a white pipe with a tap on it. Grind the pipe (the tap) and the water will start to drain, and the pool will become empty. It will now be very good for grabs, grinds or lip tricks.



Enable the "Moon Physics" cheat and smash every piece of glass in the greenhouse. You may have to drop from the pool deck through the greenhouse. Once the last piece has smashed, you will hear a fight followed by someone screaming as if he was thrown off something very high. This is the fake captain going over the ship. Then a new voice will say that he is the real captain and the man that you were listening to was a fake. This new captain will say the same things as the fake, but in a different style. If you do not hear a new voice, smash every piece of glass you see, including the shops and the museum.



Find the yellow grind poles near the water. You should not turn or you will be going the wrong way. Jump to the other yellow grind pole and go with it around to another two sets of grind poles. Grind, then when you get near the halfpipe, jump to the one closest to it then grind the halfpipe. If done correctly you should be able to go around in circles for lots of points.



To cause an earthquake in the Los Angeles level, and complete two of the required objectives (cause an earthquake and block the car chase), grind the four tremor rails (North, South, West, and East). All of these rails are on the far sides of the levels and look metallic brown. One is near where you start, another is in front of the movie theater, and the other two are near the bridge and the park (where the purple half-pipe and the pink balls are located). After you cause the earthquake, get up on the bridge by catching air off the "halfpipe" near the liquor shop and landing on it. Grind on the green car to make it stop the car chase.



When you start, go down the hill and turn right. Go to the elevator lobby. Go through the glass, then stop. To your left you will see a box on the wall. Do a wall ride on it, then stop. The elevator door will open to the right. Go into it, and go to the highest point in the level. You will see a big rail. Grind it all the way down to get lots of points.



There is a wooden fence going around parts of the level. On one side of this fence is a section with boards nailed across it. Ride into these boards to reveal a secret area with a pool and some grinds.



Without enabling the "Moon physics" cheat, at the start of the level, stop, turn back, and you can easily jump forward from the ramp on the highest telephone line. If done correctly, the "High Wire Act" gap message will appear. Grind it to score a lot of points and do a lot of special tricks (grinds). Note: You must be on the middle and highest wire because it never ends. Note: You can enable the "Perfect Rail" cheat.



Grind the pirate flag between the half-pipe and the set of bowls to open up the outside level (where the last stat point is located), and gain access to the pirate ship.



There is a metal fence cage on the opposite side of the park from where you start. Enable the "Moon Physics" cheat to make this easier. Go to the very last bowl next to the half pipe near the Coke machines. When you get in the bowl, point your skater to the corner. Ollie out of the bowl. If you done correctly, you should have landed on the rafter-like beam sticking out of the wall. Follow it around to the left and you should easily get into the metal cage.



Give the thin man his ax and go into the corridor he opened. Jump right on the quarter-pipe ahead to get into the graveyard section. Look to the left to find a long quarter-pipe, and there will be a higher section. Jump on the higher section to get enough speed to go up the section opposite. When traveling up the opposite section it is not necessary to jump. Stop when you get onto the top floor and look left. You will notice a man trapped behind some glass with a floating coffin and candlestick. If you carry on and grind the rail ahead you can get the Secret Tape using this method.



There is a haunted house in the level with some kind of monster with red eyes at the door. The monster will swing the door open and closed, however if you touch the wooden porch he will swing the door shut until you get off the porch. At the start of the level, go to the staircase to your right. Go up it, stop, and make sure you are pointing at the door. When the monster opens the door, press X. Release X before you get to the porch to jump through the door. Note: You will fall once you get through the door. The monster will growl once you get in.



Skate forward to the end of the level, to the right bowl. Go inside and get air off the left wall. Skate straight towards the right wall. Hold Up/Left and you will start to grind across the red lanterns. Hold Triangle through the entire grind until you reach the beginning of the level. Keep grinding and you will reach a wall. Jump off the wall onto a higher platform, still in the grind. Jump off that platform onto the orange platform and keep grinding. You will knock off the wire that is holding up a giant circle. You have now unlocked a new part of the level that is accessible from the bottom part of the orange platform.



While in the map editor, go to the rail category (not the rails that can be placed so close a wall that you cannot ride them). Find the rail that has a tight turn. Place four of them in a circle. When you play the map try get some speed and grind that small circle of rails. Make sure to hold Triangle. If done correctly, your skater will constantly jump on and off the rail making a lot of Kissed The Rails.



Make the Casper as one of your character's special tricks for flatland (set its command to Left, Right, Triangle). Get the special filled and do the trick. Now, while in Casper stance, press Left, Right, Triangle to switch to Anti-Casper. Also try pressing Left, Left, Triangle to put yourself into Primo stance, then pressing Right, Right, Triangle to put yourself into the Truckstand stance. Keep pressing Right, Right, Triangle quickly and repeatedly while in the Truckstand stance to keep doing multiple Truckspins to rack up points. You can switch to any of the above mentioned stances to another just by pressing in the command, but you can only do Truckspins while in the Truckstand stance. Enable the "Perfect balance" cheat to do this easier.



In the midst of doing all your special manuals, Truckstand To Rail Stand, pressing Left, Square will make you do a Rail Flip. Truckstand Spins, Casper and Anti Casper flips can also be performed. However, pressing Right(2), Circle will set you up into a handstand that you can also flip and move to the other moves from. Enable the "Perfect balance" cheat to create huge and spectacular combos. Enabling the "Moon physics" cheat will allow you to carry out the Hand-360 Flip and still carry the combo on in style.



Do a Benihana, then press Up, Square.



If you are using the Salad Grind while grinding, press Down(2), Triangle to switch it up to a Bluntslide.



Press Left + Square to start a kickflip, then as soon as it starts to flip, press Right + Circle.



Hold R1 + L1 and press Triangle, Square, or Circle after doing a trick to do a taunt, such as "Who's your daddy" or "Give props".



Go to any level that has long rails. Start a grind, Ollie, do a flip trick, then grind again with a different grind than the one done before. Keep repeating the process for up to 300,000 points.



There are three types of pedestrians. The first type will fall down instantly when run into (for example, the welder in the foundry by TC's rail). The second type will try to jump out the way. If you try to hit them enough, they will knock you down (for example, :the teens by the trailer park n Suburbia). The third type will take you down instantly (for example, the girls on the Cruise Ship). As the Demoness, go to almost any level (except the Cruise Ship) with pedestrians. Try to hit the second type of pedestrian, then turn so that she is facing them. After they jump out of the way, the pedestrian will shrink.

Then, turn to your skater's right, and find the area where there are minipipe-like objects just before the greenhouse area. Activate the Moon Physics, then ride the minipipe-like objects. Continue to do so until you can transfer from those objects to the Cruise Ship's second floor. At that point, transfer there, and some graphics around that area will no longer be there. You will no look like you are skating on nothing!

As soon as the level starts, turn directly around and go up the vert. Enable the "Moon gravity" cheat and spin towards the right. You should land on a small blue platform. Skate very slowly around the edge of the platform. Disable the "Moon gravity" cheat, then ollie over the small barrier there. You should land in a hidden area. This works well in two player games. Note: It will probably take more than one attempt to reach it.



Go to the second pool on your right, from the start. Stay in the pool and build up speed. Eventually you will start hitting the ceiling. If you get the correct angle, you will stick up there. Keep on doing moves using flips and grabs. If you land it, you can get upwards of 500,000,000 points. Make sure you have good specials and do not get too far ahead of yourself with moves. Note: The "Moon Physics" code may need to be activated.



Choose Demoness as your skater. Go to the park editor. Test skate the park (the park can be loaded), then return to the editor. Scroll to the place where you were when you went back to the editor. You will see that the flames on Demoness' arms are still there. The flames will remain there until you build something.



Create a skatepark with a halfpipe below regular level. When finished, choose free skate with any character and go into the halfpipe. Stay against the wall and do a lip trick (Inverts, Noseblunts, Nosestalls). With practice, the lip trick you perform will look like it is grinding on the wall of the halfpipe and eventually you will be doing the trick on flat ground, or it may transfer to another object such as a funbox or a bench.
