FIFA Soccer 2002 Unlockables

Unlockable cheats

Win the following tournaments to unlock the given cheats. Press Square on the rewards screen to access all the unlocked cheats.

Big Melon (Big Heads)	Win the European Champions' Cup
Crazy Ball (Press Square to make it move on its own)	Win the EFA Trophy
Eye Catcher (Giant Soccer Ball)	Win the Gold Cup
From Outside (Goal counts as 2 if scored from outside 18-yard box)	Win the Champion's League and any league title
Scrimmage (5 players a side)	Win the Champion's League and any league title
Stay N Play (Ball won't go out of bounds)	Win the European Championships
They All Fall Down (Team falls when they possess the ball too long)	Win the Copa America Championship

FIFA Soccer 2002 Tips & Hints

Better passes

Press (Square) instead of (X) to pass and the ball should go over defenders. Note the arrow color to judge how a pass will do. White arrows indicate the pass will go through. Blue arrows will indicate that a pass will be blocked or stolen. You can also press [L2] and/or [R2] to curve the pass. Press the Left Analog-stick to control the passing direction. You can also use the D-Pad to take control over passes.

There is another way to lift the ball besides kicking it. Hold [R2] + [L2] and press [Triangle]. This is like doing the fake cross-over, but you cannot be moving.

A kick that looks like a scorpion kick thing can be done by holding [L2] button while doing a volley with (Square) or [Circle]. A combination of hitting the ball with your chest then thigh and then kicking it can be done the same way, but with [R2] held.

Easy win

If you are losing a game in world class mode, press Start to pause game play. Choose "Side Select" from the pause menu, then move your controller under our opponent's name. Then, score your own goals as that team.

Under the World Class difficulty setting, if you are not very good you can start the game as the other team. The win will still count for you, and the team you originally selected. Note: this does not work while doing a friendly match or play now.
