Hold R1 + R2 + L1 + L2 when selecting a character. Different characters will result in different Dojos and students.

To play in the Dojo Stage select versus mode than hold select when selecting a random option at the stage selection screen. To play in alternate versions of stages select versus mode than hold select when choosing a stage at the selection screen. Note: Only some stages have alternate versions.

When you complete the tournament, the 29th fighter will be unlocked, but you cannot see his face. To play as him, hold L1 + R1 + R2 + L2 then press X. When you face your opponent you will be playing as him.

To unlock all the hidden characters in Versus and Tournament mode, defeat all the Dojos in single player mode. All the silhouettes will be replaced by the faces of the Dojo Masters.

If you choose the illusion training and complete it enough times, you will have to fight a "mirror image" of yourself. This "mirror image" uses the same weapon, and can use any attack that you have. It is an easy battle but it can definitely show you weaknesses in your own technique.

Get your sword up (extremely), and go to training. Select the training where you beat up on a piece of wood and attack it. Note: This trick works if you hit the wood only once and it breaks.
