The act of playing Resistance 3 in 1957 in a completely dilapidated USA. Almost the entire world's population has been wiped out by the invasion of the parasitic alien race, the Chimera. There are only a few survivors. These have come together to form isolated colonies and people lead a shadowy existence, to the overwhelming odds rather than fall into their hands. Every man is afraid for his family and next of kin. Panic is spreading. Which city is next taken by the occupying power, Chimera? Who's next? The average global temperature has dropped due to the used of the Chimera Terraformer by several degrees. Are formed first extraterrestrial life forms. Abandoned people devastated areas, highways, rundown houses, rusted and riddled with bullets car wrecks adorn the American outback. Rotted corpse remains and traces of blood parameters indicative of long battles between humans and aliens.
