You may have noticed various things that are kind of cheap in the game. For example, the CPU karts in adventure mode are all slightly faster than you are. Use the following trick to counteract this. At the beginning of a race, you always start off with a full boost. As soon as you boost starts going off, try using the extra boost as many times as you can. This is very useful for getting the two secret characters. Do this until you reach a speed boost. Then, take a chill pill and use your item(s) against the racers in front of you if you are not in first place. While in first place, try to use only these three items: Red Ice, Red Electrical Ball, and Nitro. Try to plant them in one way only locations to make them difficult to avoid. Once at this point, keep using the extra speed boost and planting items one after the other. No matter who you face, they will be done racing.
