Enter the following codes as a case-sensitive player name...

B.Caudizzle	Crew is always at highest morale
Sweet Tooth	Food never decreases
Scooter	Governor's daughters always love regardless of dancing score
Dragon Ma	Invincible during duels

Firaxis	Jeff Briggs as Abbott
Max Remington	Sid Meier as Mysterious Stranger

Sid Meier's Pirates! Unlockables

Unlockable Stuff In The Gallery

In Pirates!, when you do certain things, or "bonus" tasks, you get bonus doubloons. You use these doubloons in the main menu gallery option. Most sections of the gallery are locked though. You unlock them by buying certain objects in the 2nd and so on sections of the gallery. I will tell you which ones exactly. This has been tested on 3 different boxes and we haven't encountered any abnormalities or randomness yet.

Unlockable:	How to Unlock:
Behind The Scenes	In the 1st row of Rogue III, pick the 4th option
Pirates! Museum	In the 3rd row of Behind The Scenes, pick the 4th option
Promotional	In the 3rd row of Rogue II, pick the 2nd option.
Rogue I Gallery	On the 2nd Row of Crew, pick the 1st option
Rogue II	In the 1st row of Ships, pick the 5th option.
Rogue III	In the 2nd row of Promotional, pick the 5th option.
Ships	In the 4th row of Rogue I, pick the 2nd option.
Townspeople	In the 2nd row of Rogue I, pick the 2nd option.

Easy sea battles

When battling other ships, get in front of them. Have them chase you, and when your guns are fully loaded, turn, fire, and straighten again. Repeat this until you wish to board or their sail falls and they surrender. It is best done when you use grape shot or chain shot.

Easy Specialists

Attacking and boarding a smuggler's vessel usually yields a specialist (for example, Carpenter, Sailmaker, etc.).

Easy money

Attain the rank of Count with any or all nations. Then, start ship battles with any desired ship. Damage it a lot, but not to the point where it explodes. Keep the ship and go to a port where you are at the rank of Count or higher. Talk to the shipwright. You will get free repairs. You can repair a damaged ship for free and sell it for a lot more.
