Enter the options screen and select "Codes". Enter "SPEEDY" as a code. Repeat the code to disable its effect.

Volleyball
Enter the options screen and select "Codes". Enter "SPIKEIT" as a code. Repeat the code to disable its effect.

Xbox basketball

Play as Hot Karl:
Enter the create-a-player screen and enter CALIFORNIA as a last name. A message will confirm correct code entry. Ghetto Fabulous will appear in the free agent pool. Select the "Sign/Release Player" option to get him on your team.

Slower speed:
Change the game type to "Arcade" and select the desired rules for the game. It has a much slower game speed and easier control.
