Tidbit 1: When and if u get the umbra set, the umbra sword cannot be dropped because it is a quest item, this means that like many other quest items, hot keying this item is very usefull when going to places like the dream world or the shrine of dagon. this way u can pull out ur the umbra sword and do some damage to otherwise strong opponents.

Tidbit 2: items like the poison apple and spring heel boots can come in usefull later in the game so u may want to duplicate them. however some items can not be duplicated.

Tidbit 3: if u have beaten the thieves guild and have the gray coul of nocturnal, equip it before committing a crime so the bounty goes onto the helmet instead of u, so all u have to do is de-equip it and the bounty is gone, if the guards are atakin u all u have to do is block and tap A to get them to yield.

Tidbit 4: parts of the game like being kicked out of the fighters guild for example, need u to collect more than one dificlult item(s). all u have to do is find one of the item(s) and duplicate till u have the required amount of items.

First off go to the Talos Plaza district and find a house that belongs to a black man named Dorian. talk to him and bribe him as much as possible( this way he will have more money when you loot him) go into sneak mode and hit him for 6x damage (this isnt necissary but it makes him easier to kill, so you can kill him any way you like but keep it quiet because if things get to rough he'll either run away to report your crime or a guard will come in and arrest you) enter his inventory and take everything but his gold**DO NOT PRESS X!!!!** once his gold is the only thing left, exit his inventory and enter it again, now keep
pressing A until you get the amount of gold that you want. Depending on how much you bribed him the more money he will have to take over and over making it easier to make more gold. Ex:if you didnt bribe him he would probably have around 40-70 gold but if you bribe him all the way then he will likely have around 120-140.

NOTE- His body disappears in about one oblivion month so stock up now!

First you have to complete the Cure for Vampirism mission, and talk to The Count, Janus Hassidor. When you talk to him, ask him about the "Reward" conversation option, but don't leave the conversation, and keep asking him about it. Everytime you ask him about it you receive 1000 gold. Do this as many times as desired for unlimited gold.

To skip this annoying and expensive game, go to the Arcane University or Frost Crag Spire (if you have the download) and make a Charm spell. Set the Magnatude to 100 and the Duration only 2 seconds. This will make even the most hateful person in the game have a disposition of about 73 at the lowest, and you will never have to bribe again.

For an unlimited source of iron arrows, go to the Bloodworks in the arena. One of the gladiators is practicing with his bow on a target. Stand close by. When there are five to ten arrows in the target, take them before he does. He will just continue shooting when you move out of the way. This is an unlimited source of iron arrows, which can be sold to almost any merchant and therefore also makes an unlimited source of gold.

Go to the city of Anvil and make your way to the inn. Inside is a man whose name starts with a "B". He is selling his grandfather's old manor. You can purchase it if you have 5,000 gold, which is very cheap considering that most houses are 15,000 gold and are not as good. The house (at first) is ugly and haunted. However, after completing the quick quest the house will be fixed up without any additional payment.

Instead of getting the note, just go to the garden of dailroth in the theives town and wait till 12:00 and bribe the guy with the torch there until he will let you take the test.

Just talk to the bum go to the house of the diary guy, and instead of letting the elf slowley walk to it just run and take it from the chest, dont worry, the guy wont wake up. this skips the pick pocketing part which can easily lead to you losing the quest. then go to the garden and hand over the diary.

All you have to do is go to the arena, make sure the difficulty is set to the easiest, kill all of the enemies, including the grand champion, then sleep in the arena bed. when you wake up there will be a man in a black robe there. just keep picking the option "say nothing" and then do the easy quest.

Any time after you have finished the tutorial in the imperial sewers at the start of the game, you can kill a specific person and loot unlimited amounts of gold from them. Here's how you do it: In the Imperial City, Talos district, find a house owned by a person named Dorian, it will be called "Dorian's House". Try to get him angry enough with you via threatening him. Once he has a low enough disposition (lower than 20) with him, he will ask you to leave. At this point kill him and go to loot his body. He should have around 40 gold and some other misc items. LOOT ALL THE ITEMS FIRST leaving the gold, DO NOT LOOT ALL. When you go to take the gold, it will glitch and keep allowing you to take the gold off him. Make sure he doesn't leave or alerts any of the guards and save before attempting this. After about an hour of hitting the same button, I had 150k gold.

To perform this cheat, you need to finish the Dark Brotherhood Quest line, at the end of "Honor Thy Mother" quest, after the traitor is dead, talk to the Night Mother. She will tell unlock the Blade of Woe's true potential, and then teleports you to the Cheydinhal Sanctuary. This is where you need to act quickly. Once she gives you the Blade of Woe back, talk to her again, and she will say it again, if you press B, you will have 2 Blade of Woe's. Rinse and repeat.

*Hints*

* Remember to do it quickly or you will be teleported to Cheydinhal. * This cheat works better when you are a higher level, the higher the level, the higher the enchantment, the higher the enchantment, the higher the price when being sold. * You can also just do the arrow trick. Both work.

Fill a Black Soul Gem with a Human Soul. Take a weapon that is not already enchanted and give it shock damage, fire damage, or frost damage. Then, give it weaknes to whatever damage you just gave it. When you swing the first time, it will do the fire, frost, or shock damage then give them a weakness to it. The second swing will do a lot more damage.

First you need a one hit kill bow or sword, i like bows more, there even less chance of getting cought. Then kill any civilin but dont be close to a guard.

Before you kill the arena grand champion if you go asleep in the bloodworks you become a vampire it is a long quest to become normal again as you have to get 5 great soul gems must be empty.

Get a large amount of money either through a duplication glitch or normal game play. Go to Skingrad and speak to the Orc butler in the castle. You may need to raise his disposition first. Buy the empty house from him. Next, go to Colovian Traders and buy the upgrades for the house. You may not need every one, but you can buy them all. Go to the house. Go to the very top floor to the master bedroom. When you enter, there will be a bed around the corner to the left. Go around the bed and find a chest on the floor by the wall on your right side, and a bookcase on the back wall. Jump on the chest, and then on the bookcase. Look to the left, and there will be a scroll on a ledge behind where the bed is located. Read the scroll to get a riddle. Go to the very bottom floor to what seems to be a wine cellar. There will be a column in the middle of the room with garlic hanging from it. If you look above it on the rafters, there is an hourglass. Pick it up to complete the quest. You will get several precious stones, and the Ring of Grey which has +5 to several abilities, including Sneak, as well as Detect Life 50 ft. This will help you see where all people are, therefore making it easier to avoid detection.

The easyest way to get leveled for a new player is do to water front in the Imperial city and go tp the wooden shacks behind the big wall thing and go to the house in the far back the guys name is Christophe or somthing...and just start attacking him he wont call the guards or die so he's easy to get levels.

After joining the Dark Brotherhood you will obtain the Blade Of Woe. It is classified as a quest item, and you cannot drop it. When on quests where all your belongings are taken from you, you will still have this dagger. Note: This does not work in prison.

Once you are level 10, you can do the Weird Shrines. This shrine gives you a lockpick key that never breaks and sets your Security to "Expert". To get it, you must go to Leyawiin south of Imperial City. Then, travel north using the right road (that does not lead to Bravil). You will find a shrine called Nocturne, where there will be some people praying. Go up and activate the shrine. The statue will talk about some thieves who stole her eye. From here you should be able to get it on your own. However if you are having some trouble, go back to Leyawiin and talk to the guard. He will tell you about Webaa-Na. You may have have encountered him before if you did the quest to become a knight-errant. Talk to both Webaa-Na and his friend. They will admit nothing. Walk away and in a little while they will start talking about trolls or something. They will stop because you are in the room. Hide and listen to them talk about it. Once you have heard them talking, they will tell you the location of the eye. It is in a cave. Go to the cave, retrieve the eye, and go back to the Nocturne Shrine. You will get the Skeleton Key, which greatly helps lockpicking because it does not break.

Alright first off you go down to the arena district in the imperial city go in to the blood works and there is this blue gladiator down there and he is shooting the hay target with his bow when he shoots around 10 arrows he will walk back and get them so i just get them at 9. He wont shoot you if you walk in the way and some times he is not doing it because the bow will wear out so just leave and come back another day and he will have it back. And you also have to do it before about one o clock in the morning cause he goes to sleep then but when it does work you can get about 100 steel arrows from him in a day.

I know everyone says this is hard but i killed her in 4 hits. What you need to do is gets strong weapon(enchanted weapon or silver war hammer) then head to the im perial city water front. After you get there go aound the wall about to the middle of opposite side then go directly south do not follow roads. After a little bit u should end up in a town called pells gate. From there travel west following the road until you cross the old bridge(this is a landmark so itll be easy to find it). Across the bridge there will be ruins called vindasel get to the end and there umbra a chick redguard will be there. Dont waste ur time trying to get on the pillar. Equip your war hammer or enchanted item get behind her and swing and dont stop shell be dead within 15 seconds.

You know those Sigil Stones you get from Oblivion gates? Yeah, you can duplicate them. I duplicated a 30% invisiblity one and put them on a full set of armor, no one can see me. It's awesome! Try it!

An easier way to kill Umbra is to go into sneak and get to the part where part of the railing is broken away. Make sure you have a bow and shoot her while in sneak. There, now just walk backwards and shoot her a lot, it also helps if either the bow or the arrows are enchanted.

Go along the road that comes out of leyawiin.
you should find a shrine. Talk to the shrine and finish the quest it gives you. Your reward for finishing the quest is a skeleton key(unbreakable lockpick) now you can open everything without wasting lockpicks.

This is really easy, just have a high sneak level and kill them while they're asleep in their beds, hmm, maybe you don't need a high sneak level.....

To avoid trouble with ghosts, ghouls or other similar things that appear when you sleep, drop a silver weapon in every inn you sleep in often. Pick it up when you get attaked by the monster, then drop it when finished. Note: This is especially useful if you get expelled from the Dark Brotherhood.

To easily kill Dread Zombies, use a weapon enchanted with some sort of Fire attack, such as the Longsword Of The Blaze or the Fire Blade. They will easily die within three hits.

While doing the "Taking Care Of Lex" quest for the Thieves Guild you must to scald the paper with Lex's seal. Just beside the desk where the seal is, you will see a chest. If you came in the door directly behind the chest you will get an Elven longsword, Glass longsword, Orcish helmet, and a Mythril sheild. If you came in from the door upstairs you will get an Elven longsword and Dwarven greaves. If you came in the exact entrance you cannot open the chest.

On the "The Purification" quest for the Dark Brotherhood, use the following trick to easily kill some of the members in the sanctuary such as Ocheeva and Vincent. First. get your Disposition with them as high as possible, then sneak attack them with a dagger. Before they have a time to retaliate, propose a yield. You can attack and yield repeatedly until they are killed.

Go to the Arena and get a few claymores. Then, go directly south of the Imperial Waterfront to a place called the Old Bridge. Move west and follow the road until you reach a ruin that starts with a "V". Go inside and get past the minor creatures. You will find a girl. This is Umbra. There is one broken pillar in the room. Use the bench next to it to jump on top of it, then stand at the edge. Use a ranged attack to have her start attacking you. Then, take out the claymore and just start hitting her. She has a lot of health and does a lot of damage -- do not fall off the pillar. If all goes well you will have full Ebony armor and an incredible sword without getting touched.

Note: This requires the Fighter's Stronghold expansion. You can get a fire-based sword that gives you a fire spell and a steel shield that grants you light. Go to the training area. Go to the archery range behind the dummy. Face the wall and look to your left. Pull the right candelabra. Follow the path until you see a glowing skeleton. Kill it. Note: Bring a guard to help kill the lich. There is a very good weapon on the lich.

You need an empty Grand Soul Gem and a Soultrap spell. Take these to any of the four Necromancer lairs. There will be an altar which will only be active one day of the week. You may need to wait up to six game days. Place your gem on the altar when it is active and cast Soul Trap on it. You will now have a Black Soul Gem. These are used for capturing the souls of NPCs. One is also required for one of the Daedric Quests as a tribute to the shrine.

Go to where someone is sleeping and there are more people in the room. Kill him without being seen. Someone else may sleep in the bed they died in after awhile. You can keep doing this repeatedly until no more people are alive. You will have a pile of bodies on a bed. This works better if the bed is against the wall.

Take the Green Road south of the Imperial City until you find the Inn of III Omen. Head directly east for a while to find Harcane Grove, and the game's only unicorn. Be nice! If you ride it, it'll become your default horse.

Summon a creature and have Wabbajack in hand. When you summon the creature you can cast Wabbajack on it to change it to something else. You can then summon it again and the first creature will remain.

If you are in the Planes Of Oblivion and need to get past something such as lava, get a Walk On Water spell and a Health spell. Use the Walk On Water spell then switch to the Health spell and run. Note: The Health spell is for your health when you get burnt.

Go to the university and make a spell for 100 rage touch cast it on the students outside and they will attack each other with magic weapons and kill each other pick up their stuff then.

Join the Arena and sign up for a match. Kill your opponent then go back to where you first came out (near the gate). Look to the right to find a large door with a gate in front of it. From the outside you cannot open this gate. Jump on the wall next to until it says open gate. You should now be able to walk through the giant door. Note: this may require a few attempts.

Go south of the waterfront on the green road. Near Horn Cave should be Charcoal Cave. There is a water fall here. Go directly under the waterfall and you should have a bald head. You can also walk through the rock. This is temporary and will wear off after getting out the water. Do not wear a helmet.

To do this you must first have the desired attribute at 100. Then you must find a creature that you can contract a disease from that will lower your attributes (a permanent affect disease not like the poisons or attacks from enchanted weapons) then you must level up your character and put attribute points in the attribute that was lowered after this go to a chapel and pray at the alter for all your diseases to be removed. After that check your attriubtes and your attribute should now be over 100.

As you enter Anvil at around 1am an elf should be standing near the docks and he should say ever heard of Legolas? They say he is the finest archer in the world!

You must have your Acrobatics up to where you can roll around (Journeyman). Go to the Imperial City. Go to any of the gates leading to the Imperial Palace (for example, the Taloz Plaza, the Market District, etc.). Just before the gates, there is a gap in the stone along the sidewalk that leads down to some water. Jump up on the stone and roll across the gap, but do not turn around. Just pull back and back flip back over the gap. Keep rolling back and forth and eventually you will shoot up in the air as you roll forward. You can control yourself up on the roofs for the buildings. This may take some time, but it works best if when you roll forward you are moving toward the gate to the palace.

When picking a lock, there is a way to get it to automatically pick virtually every time, regardless of the lock's difficulty

Do the very first spring manually. Once it is in place, do the following: As you press over on the joystick to go to the next spring, hit the "X" button a split second after you press over. The arrow should be in between the 1st and 2nd springs as you hit "X." If done correctly, and it doesn't seem to be too difficult, you will get the lock open on the very first try. It's similar to getting the speed boost at the beginning of a Mario Kart race.

Make sure you have a decent bow and arrows, or magic. The Glass bow and arrows should work. For magic, try an explosive fire power. Travel to the Anvil Lighthouse. Go to the top where the fire is located. Wait for a man called Ulfgar Fog-Eye to appear. When he is up there, aim the bow at his head. If using magic, aim at the ground. If you are lucky, he will fall down the side of the lighthouse. However instead of waking up from down below and climbing all the way back up, he will magically float back up to the top of the lighthouse.

To do this, you need a spell to paralyze. Find a guard on a horse and paralyze the horse. If you paralyze the guard this glitch will not work. When the guard and horse are paralyzed, walk over to the guard and he will talk to you. Choose "Resist Arrest", and he will get up and his ghost will attack you, even though his body is still paralyzed. If you use a fire spell on his body that has a duration effect, you can see a fire trail leading to his ghost. If desired, you can attack the guard's body and the ghost will get hurt. The ghost guard can die.

Before you leave the Imperial Sewers when you meet back up with the king and company, follow them to where they stop in a dead end room. Walk in slowly behind them until you hear the guards say "They are behind us". Then, quickly run to the room they just came from to fight. Continue fighting as long as you wish to train. If you need more health, Magika, potions, etc. or repair hammers, go to the central area. You will see a little stump of a pole. Jump on it, then jump onto the little ledge and walk to the little area. Go back in the corner by the door you entered and use the "Duplicate items" code to make potions or hammers. If you need to repair your items, crouch in the corner until the guard kills all the assassins in the area, then repair. The assassins will never run out. You may do this as many times as desired. When you are done training talk to the king and finish the sewers area. You will then be able to level up according to how much you trained.

There is a mission in the mage's guild that requires you to enter a mage's dream name "Through A Nightmare, Darkly" for Henantier. As soon as you enter, the text states that you lost all your items but will keep your skill levels. However if you have a quest item such as the Ring of the Vipereye or Boots of Springheel Jack, you will keep the bonuses, even after you get out of the dream and get your items back. The items will not be equipped but the skill bonus will still be there. You cannot re-equip the items, but you can equip other rings or boots and get their bonuses as well.

First complete the quest "The Order Of Virtuous Blood" by NOT killing Roland. Next have some Vampire Dust and 10+ scrolls of the same kind. Dupe the vampire dust untill you get about 100. Next talk to Roland about "Vampire" He will give you 250 gold for each vampire dust. Continuesly talk to him about it and you will keep getting the reward. Repeat again and again.

Make sure you are a part of the Thieves Guild first. This glitch will be easier to undo if you save your game beforehand so that it can be reloaded. Do something to where a guard chases you. When he confronts you, select "Resist Arrest". Run to any person in the Thieves Guild that can take your bounty away. When you get to that person, make sure that the guards are still by you and are chasing you. Before the guards can get to you, talk to that thief and select the "Take Off My Bounty" option. After he takes it off, the guards will still be chasing you. Go up to a guard, hold Block, and select "Talk" to say that you surrender. This is in the game because if you hurt a friend and he starts hitting you, it allows you to tell the friend that you are sorry and he will stop. The guard will stop hitting you. Go to your map and try to fast travel anywhere. The game will say you cannot because guards are chasing you.

There are paintbrushes stored in random containers at various locations. If you take one out and drop it, it will not fall. It will just float in the location you were looking at when you dropped it. You can drop them in sets of two or more and use them as steps to reach high places. You can also use them as barriers between you and enemies.

Note: Save your game before attempting this. Do something bad so that the guards will go after you. When they catch you, chose go to jail. While in jail, stand next to the cell door while in sneak/crouch mode. The guard should walk by after a few minutes. When he does, press A to pickpocket him. Keep stealing from him until he catches you. This time the guard will not ask you to go to jail, pay the fine, etc. He will just try to kill you. The guard however cannot open the cell door. He will just keep running toward you, but cannot do anything. You cannot hurt him because you cannot punch through the cell door. If you go to your bed and select "Sleep your sentence", it will say that you cannot because enemies are nearby. You are now stuck in jail forever, or until you load another game.

Press B then Start. Then quickly press B(3). You should see your character as you would in the inventory, but without the inventory part.

Use the "Duplicate items" glitch on a paint brush. After getting at least twenty paintbrushes, go outside of "A Fighting Chance" in the Imperial City market district at midnight. Drop a paintbrush. Notice that it will float. Get on top of the brush and repeat the process to form a set of stairs. After you get high enough to reach the top of the Fighting Chance store, get on top of the building. You will see a chest that is locked. The lockpick level is very difficult. Lockpick it and look inside to find an odd sword without a name. The sword has no attack and breaks easily. It cannot be sold.

When you must do the quest for the Dark Brotherhood, from the dead drop which tells you to track down a dark elf merchant who travels from town to town, wait for him to go to Bruma and go into the Inn. He will usually be sitting around and drinking and eating, and perhaps talking. Look above the table nearest the dark corner of the inn. You will see rafters that you can jump up in. Note: You may have to be wood elf or a smaller race. Make sure to have a bow. Take your bow out and get above the Dark Elf merchant that you must kill. Shoot him in the head and he will get up and swing at nothing. Make sure there are others in the room because they will get up and start attacking the Dark Elf. When he is dead, jump down and run out. You will get the credit for killing him.

Find a paintbrush then use the "Duplicate items" glitch to get least fifty paintbrushes. Drop all of them in a circle around you, then attack any guard. They will try to arrest you, but cannot reach you because the paintbrushes will float in midair when you drop them. Attempt to sleep twelve times, then take some of the paintbrushes so that the guard can arrest you. Resist, then yield. The fines will be significantly reduced. This will not work with patched games.

Go to Bazur gro-Gharz's house in Cheydinhal. He sleeps about 5 a.m. to 6 a.m. Kill him while he is sleeping. Then, check his body. To get unlimited arrows you must take the arrows first, then keep taking them in quantities of twenty. The game will glitch and you will have unlimited arrows.

For this trick you must have access to the Arcane University, and/or have finished the Mage's Guild quest line and have become Arch-Mage. Make sure that you have a few Grand Soul Gems in order to enchant items. If you need more than one, just use the duplication glitch. First, go to either the Chironasium, or to the Arch-Mage's quarters if available. Go to the Altar of Enchanting and select your Grand Soul Gem. As your weapon, choose your favorite bow. Select both Weakness to Fire 100% for 1 second and Fire Damage 20 points for 1 second in 17 feet. If you have used a Grand Soul Gem, you will most likely be able to use the bow multiple times. Finish enchanting and exit. At some point you will have a quest in the Fighter's Guild in which you must kill all of the Blackwood Company members and destroy the Hist tree. One of the members will have an enchanted bow and quite a few varieties of enchanted arrows. Take the Arrow of Cleansing and duplicate it until you have hundreds of them. You now have an extremely powerful bow and arrow combination that can kill almost anything with one shot, not to mention everything around them, especially if you sneak attack. Remember to keep duplicating your arrows and recharging your bow, because it is nearly useless without the enchantment.

What you need to do is equip something that lets you walk on water, equip a torch then look at the water then push the analog stick up and you will be underwater with the torch still equiped and lit ive done this many times and i know it works
