Tidbit 1: When and if u get the umbra set, the umbra sword cannot be dropped because it is a quest item, this means that like many other quest items, hot keying this item is very usefull when going to places like the dream world or the shrine of dagon. this way u can pull out ur the umbra sword and do some damage to otherwise strong opponents.

Tidbit 2: items like the poison apple and spring heel boots can come in usefull later in the game so u may want to duplicate them. however some items can not be duplicated.

Tidbit 3: if u have beaten the thieves guild and have the gray coul of nocturnal, equip it before committing a crime so the bounty goes onto the helmet instead of u, so all u have to do is de-equip it and the bounty is gone, if the guards are atakin u all u have to do is block and tap A to get them to yield.

Tidbit 4: parts of the game like being kicked out of the fighters guild for example, need u to collect more than one dificlult item(s). all u have to do is find one of the item(s) and duplicate till u have the required amount of items.

pressing A until you get the amount of gold that you want. Depending on how much you bribed him the more money he will have to take over and over making it easier to make more gold. Ex:if you didnt bribe him he would probably have around 40-70 gold but if you bribe him all the way then he will likely have around 120-140.

NOTE- His body disappears in about one oblivion month so stock up now!



First you have to complete the Cure for Vampirism mission, and talk to The Count, Janus Hassidor. When you talk to him, ask him about the "Reward" conversation option, but don't leave the conversation, and keep asking him about it. Everytime you ask him about it you receive 1000 gold. Do this as many times as desired for unlimited gold.



First, use the duplicate trick (duplicate trick listed on this page) on an expensive item, magic if you want best results. Then go to a trade store and sell them as many duplicated items you want. This way you can always get money if you are low on coins.!



First, join the arena in the Imperial City. Don't actually fight. In the Bloodworks, there should be an elf firing his bow into a target. Whenerver he fires, take his arrows. (Sometimes he fires his bow but nothing comes out.)



This only works on items YOU CAN NOT equip...Just drop the item from your inventory and pick it back up, it will now no longer have the red hand on the object indicating stolen and you can now also sell it at normal stores.



At the arena use the pick mode to start a sword stright up so when u walk away it is still standing.. Go back run and jump over it and it start to dance.



Instead of getting the note, just go to the garden of dailroth in the theives town and wait till 12:00 and bribe the guy with the torch there until he will let you take the test.



Just talk to the bum go to the house of the diary guy, and instead of letting the elf slowley walk to it just run and take it from the chest, dont worry, the guy wont wake up. this skips the pick pocketing part which can easily lead to you losing the quest. then go to the garden and hand over the diary.



All you have to do is go to the arena, make sure the difficulty is set to the easiest, kill all of the enemies, including the grand champion, then sleep in the arena bed. when you wake up there will be a man in a black robe there. just keep picking the option "say nothing" and then do the easy quest.



Any time after you have finished the tutorial in the imperial sewers at the start of the game, you can kill a specific person and loot unlimited amounts of gold from them. Here's how you do it: In the Imperial City, Talos district, find a house owned by a person named Dorian, it will be called "Dorian's House". Try to get him angry enough with you via threatening him. Once he has a low enough disposition (lower than 20) with him, he will ask you to leave. At this point kill him and go to loot his body. He should have around 40 gold and some other misc items. LOOT ALL THE ITEMS FIRST leaving the gold, DO NOT LOOT ALL. When you go to take the gold, it will glitch and keep allowing you to take the gold off him. Make sure he doesn't leave or alerts any of the guards and save before attempting this. After about an hour of hitting the same button, I had 150k gold.



For the people who do not know how to get there,... or there just confused lol, here's what to do:

First: You should get a NOTE from the Gray Fox saying:''Meet me at the Garden of Darloth at 12:00 A.M.'' (Oblivion standard Time lol )

Second: Then, you should go to the Garden inside the Imperial City WaterFront were the Begger's bed is the wait there at 12:00 A.m.

Third: you will see a guy carring a tourch, talk to him then he will say '' are you confuesd " the give him the mysterious note then follow him to his destination leds too.

Fourth: He will say (short tearm but, you will hear the rest) ''you will have to pass a test since a newcomer is here, you will have to give me a diary'' the aroginain will say ''thats not fair'' then the elf would say '' I'll get the diary in no time''
then the tourch guy, will say "i'll sell you lock picks if you need them'', Trust me you'll need them. Get like if you have enough gold get 36 lock picks or do the bow and arrow trick,.

Five: if you get the diary from the guys house, then go back to Garden of Dorloth (( what ever how you say it)) then pickpocket the elf looking thing.

Sixth: The guy with the tourch will say (If you do not pass the test) ''him too bad, i'll give you a second try'' then click another thievs guild test, then he will say ''Bring me a sword from Rohasan cutlass''

Seven: Then, go to A FIGHTING CHANCE inside the Imperial Market Distirct, the Lock pic is an average, if you are a argonian it will not be a problem.

Eight: Then save it, go upstairs into A Fighting Chance private corters lock pick it again, if you have a magic skill to lock picks use that, but the lock pick is an average, then be carefull of the dog kill it. then you will see a box in the left corner, on the desk open it wilth a lock pick a magic skill grab Rohasan cutlass, then get the hell out of there.

Nine: Go to the Garden give the cutlass to the guy with the tourch.

Ten: CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! :) ;) You are now a member of the theives guild as pickpocket.... few that was long lol,



On your map just north of the imperial sewers is a little island that have elven ruins on them, if u go through the ruins you get a couple of usefull items for low level characters but what you are after is a varla stone. varla stones are found in numorous elven ruins throughout cyrodil but these ruins are easiest. As you proceed through the ruins you will eventually come across what looks like a light ficture over a stone pedestal in the middle of a room. it will not let u move it since it is remote activated. the stone remote is up on the belcony like area above nad to the rite of the light ficture. just walk up there kill the skeleton archer and press the button. the light ficture should rise and u can take the varla stone. u now can either turn around or keep going either way getting u out of the ruins. now fast travel to the imperial city and go to three brothers trade goods. Do the bow and arow duplicate cheat on the varla stones. Talk to the man and bribe him as much as possible. then barter a couple of them to him until u have a disposition of 100 wiht him. now u can hagle the varal stones for 492 dollars a peice with him. now u can sell 2 at a time fro almost a 1k at a time. once used to the procedure it u can make huge loads of money at a time and be a millionare in no time. Enjoy

HINT: if u hit the right bumper button when selling the varla stones to the clerk it skips all the way to 1 at a time speeding up the process even more;)

HINT2: to do the bow and arow cheat u need: 1 bow lots of arows and a item to duplicate (varla stone) first u draw back the bow arrow and when once u have completely drawn back the arow press b. now try to re-equip the arows then go to ur varla stone and drop it. if done properly u should end up wiht loads of varla stones(depending on how many arows u have depends on how manny varla stones u will get exp:100 arows=100 varla stones.)



What you need is about 500gp, any bow and alot of any kind of arrows. First read before you start.

Go to the Imperial city, market district. Go up the steps and take a right, go down the street, take a right into the plaza thingy. Go strait untill you reach the best defence. Go inside(if its locked wait till around 8:30-9:00)go to the guy in the metal gear, choose barter.(1 right of persuede)Buy the "steel cuiress" go out side equip your bow, and arrows take them out, fire at the ground. When your guy gets the string pulled back, press "B" go to the arrows and unequip them ~~~DONT~~~ exit out, now ^ drop the "steel cuiress"(it should multiply to the amount of arrows you have)then # pick them all up drop as many as you need to to be able to walk go inside and go to the other guy(the one in the leather)and haygle as high as you can, sell all the "steel cuiresses" you have on you go back out side pick up the same amount as you had before and repeat from the # sign untill you have only one left then repeat from the ^ sign when you get about 1.05K go to the other guy and buy the "Aegis of Apocalips" and multiply it then go to the Wyet Inn(just outside the main gat of the Impeirial city) and sell it to the weird guy on the steps(if hes at the table wait till morning)and sell them to him at 2k a peice.

To perform this cheat, you need to finish the Dark Brotherhood Quest line, at the end of "Honor Thy Mother" quest, after the traitor is dead, talk to the Night Mother. She will tell unlock the Blade of Woe's true potential, and then teleports you to the Cheydinhal Sanctuary. This is where you need to act quickly. Once she gives you the Blade of Woe back, talk to her again, and she will say it again, if you press B, you will have 2 Blade of Woe's. Rinse and repeat.

*Hints*

* Remember to do it quickly or you will be teleported to Cheydinhal. * This cheat works better when you are a higher level, the higher the level, the higher the enchantment, the higher the enchantment, the higher the price when being sold. * You can also just do the arrow trick. Both work.



Almost everyone who plays Oblivion know about the floating paint brush trick, but besides making a stairway to non-reachable places, there are other uses.

In the Imperial City, or any other major city, make a stairway of paint brushes onto the city walls, take out your bow and arrows, and launch one at a random person. Everyone will yell, "Assault! Assault!" when you see a city guard take out his bow and arrows, and hide behind the pillars of the wall. Remain standing, and you should be able to still launch arrows over the pillar. Just use the third person mode to set a target. City guards give you a lot of experience, mostly because they come in numbers and will never stop until you flee or are dead. Citizens give you minimal experience and are limited, but they come in numbers as well. The higher the level, the harder it is to gain a level. Just prey of the angry townsfolk and the never-ending guards, and even at level 20, I gained 3 levels in an hour.

* I highly recommend you don't do this if you want your player to be "loved" by everyone. But for some adventurers, it doesn't matter...



First set difficulty to minimum. Then get plenty of arrows and magika potions. Go to arena a do the jump to get on a pillar wen u are on top and sure u wont fall set difficulty to maximum and fire ure spells/ arros at them the difficulty has changed but not the skills uprade i got to destruction 100 in about half hour!!!



First you need a one hit kill bow or sword, i like bows more, there even less chance of getting cought. Then kill any civilin but dont be close to a guard.



Well, I own Shivering Isles and i've beaten the main quest and the knights of the nine quests and i know how to get past level 50 (max level).Right now i'm level 36 with full daedric.To get all the stuff except for the shield go to the inn where you start "the grave diggers remorse" after lvl.20 there should be a girl there in full daedric.



Before you kill the arena grand champion if you go asleep in the bloodworks you become a vampire it is a long quest to become normal again as you have to get 5 great soul gems must be empty.



As said above the umbra gear is great...but umbra herself is somewhat of a demi-god she killed me in about 2 hits, so what you do is being either a caster or archer makes this easiest seeing as her health regen is almost equal to my damage, jump over the balcony overlooking her encampment and stay on the side of teh wall on the small outcropping, DO NOT LET HER HIT YOU. Once this is acheived begin your assault and dont let up, if you run out of arrows or magika then find other means to kill her from a distance...its hard to achieve but possible and the gear is great.



Get prior mabels horse at the begining of game and go to kvatch there will be a merchant there get on your horse and sell her your equiped weapon. It will still be there. Do as many times as you want.



The easyest way to get leveled for a new player is do to water front in the Imperial city and go tp the wooden shacks behind the big wall thing and go to the house in the far back the guys name is Christophe or somthing...and just start attacking him he wont call the guards or die so he's easy to get levels.



After completing the "cure for vampirism" quest for Janus hassildor (the count of skingrad) sneak to his room while he is sleeping, using an invinsible spell if necessary. Wake him up.If you keep choosing the "reward" option when doing this, he will give you 7,500 gold pisces each time.You can keep doing this for a amazing amount of gold.



First enchant a ring with fire damage,next sell it to the shop owner.Stay in the shop until the shop owner dies from the fire damage ring.Then loot everything and it wont be considered a murder and you wont get bounty.



If your stuck on some of the enermies then this might help a little bit use a sneak attack with your bow it will help you a bit.



You need the rosethorn manor in skingrad, get it by talkin to the orc butler in the castle. You need a lvl 100 alchemy skill, and preferably a controler with a turbo button on it. Now after buying rosethorn, go to the general store and buy the servants quarters, nothing else. Talk to the nord lady that is wandering around the store, she wants to work for you, accept. Go back to your new home and talk to your new servant, ask for some food. She gives you a shepards pie. This alone is worth nothing, but turning it into a potion will make it be worth around 40 gold. With the turbo button, one can simply leave with A taped down, and get thousands of pies, then do the same with X and get thousands of potions... unfortunatly, you can only sell about 30 of them at a time to even the richest of shop keepers.



Alright first off you go down to the arena district in the imperial city go in to the blood works and there is this blue gladiator down there and he is shooting the hay target with his bow when he shoots around 10 arrows he will walk back and get them so i just get them at 9. He wont shoot you if you walk in the way and some times he is not doing it because the bow will wear out so just leave and come back another day and he will have it back. And you also have to do it before about one o clock in the morning cause he goes to sleep then but when it does work you can get about 100 steel arrows from him in a day.



I know everyone says this is hard but i killed her in 4 hits. What you need to do is gets strong weapon(enchanted weapon or silver war hammer) then head to the im perial city water front. After you get there go aound the wall about to the middle of opposite side then go directly south do not follow roads. After a little bit u should end up in a town called pells gate. From there travel west following the road until you cross the old bridge(this is a landmark so itll be easy to find it). Across the bridge there will be ruins called vindasel get to the end and there umbra a chick redguard will be there. Dont waste ur time trying to get on the pillar. Equip your war hammer or enchanted item get behind her and swing and dont stop shell be dead within 15 seconds.



Go along the road that comes out of leyawiin.
you should find a shrine. Talk to the shrine and finish the quest it gives you. Your reward for finishing the quest is a skeleton key(unbreakable lockpick) now you can open everything without wasting lockpicks.



The way to get Umbra Armour is to go south west from the Imperial Waterfront, or follow the sun. Until you come across a place called Livendi. Then enter Livendi, defeat the rats and avoid th traps. Then go deeper inside until you find a Women named Umbra, kill her ad get her armour, sheild and sword. And there you have it.

Standing at the front gates of the Imperial City, looking towards the bridge, you will find the Daedric helmet to your right, across the moat guarding the city. Swim or ride around it and continue along with the path to find a small inn. Here, you can find an Advanced Strength trainer and a couple of thugs. If you have surpassed level 20, the leader of the thugs, a woman, will be wearing a Daedric helmet. (She may not be wearing the full set sometimes) Talk to her and make her mad by using persuasion. She'll attack you, along with her other cronies. Kill them all and loot the leader for a Daedric helmet. (This is also a time to grab glass armor, if you're past level 20 and have a decent Light Armor skill, one of the women's partners is wearing it.)

This armor is generally easy to get. You can either follow this small tip or the one above, but either way, both reward you with full Glass armor. The second way is to simply raid a mercenaries camp. The mercs now wear glass armor, usually a full set. Strike them down and loot their bodies.

Now, I'm not exactly sure if it does this to everyone, but it stops me from leveling up, I trained for 5 hours and still remained at level 50, but I discovered a way to get past level 50, all you have to do is serve jail time, it will decrease your skills, get them back up again and it will give you the option to meditate and gain a level.



First, Get more than 2 scrolls (Doesnt matter what kind of scroll), Then press B, to go to the Iventory screen, Then press A 2x on the scrolls, Then drop the item that u want to duplicate ( This code works on the game of the year to) THIS CODE DOESNT WORK ON QUEST ITEMS, STOELEN ITEMS, DAMAGED ITEMS ECT.



Download battlehorn castle of the marketplace.
Once you have downloaded it go to the road that seems to end where there is nothing going left out of Chorrol south gate, you will have to fight a bunch of easy maurauders (dont know how to spell it) then once u killed them talk to one of the "Battlehorn Man-at-Arms" people they got steel armour and they should give you the castle.

1. Right now for the secrets.
As soon as you go through the door turn left there should be a wooden door leading into a small corridor. Go into the corridor and on your left again should be a small arch type thingy go to the right of the small arch where there is a little pillar looking thing it should come up "Moveable Pillar" press ((!!A!!)) on the pillar to reveal a passage way leading to the basement.

2. Ok now lets start over.
As you go through the main doors go up the stairs and go to your private quarters. Head straight down the corridor in your private quarters until you hit a wall turn left and there should be another arch-way there simply move the same pillar as before to reveal another passage way except this one has a journal in it telling you the location of anoher passage way and if you go over to the shelf where the journal is if you look up there will be a trap door there leading to the roof.

3. Start at the main doors go into the corridor directly infront of you and turn right go through the wooden door down the corridor and its the second door on your right you should be in the basement right now.

If your not you've obviously felll out of line. Go down the stairs until your in a big corridor go all the way to the bottom and turn right you should be in the training room go through the door which is in the top right hand corner of the training and go past the dummy activate the candlebra...hehe bra...and it should open another passage way head down the tunnel thorugh a loading screen door then just head straight down the stairs oh yeah and nothing attacks you just so you know once you reach the end it would normally seem like a dead end but we know already it is'nt its ANOTHER arch-way but this time the pillar is on the left...(I think)...then you'll have to wait and see what lies beyond



Take the Green Road south of the Imperial City until you find the Inn of III Omen. Head directly east for a while to find Harcane Grove, and the game's only unicorn. Be nice! If you ride it, it'll become your default horse.



Go to any part of the imperial city and hit a guard once with anything that won't kill him, then resist arrest and stand in any corner with your sheild blocking and just sit there, the guards will attack with bows and arrows and swords so your block skill will go up very quickly. When you have only a small amount of health left either pay the 40gp to the guard or run away. Then when you have chance to repair the armor, do so, and your armorer skill goes up very quickly also. By doing this i went from level 4 to level 25 in a couple of hours with minimal effort.



Go to the university and make a spell for 100 rage touch cast it on the students outside and they will attack each other with magic weapons and kill each other pick up their stuff then.

Do the very first spring manually. Once it is in place, do the following: As you press over on the joystick to go to the next spring, hit the "X" button a split second after you press over. well, i stumbled across this glitche when i came back to a area i was picking dragons tongue plants, i killed a land dreugh that was at the bottom of the hill next to the bridge.

I went back acouple of oblivion days later and i saw the dead land dreugh still liein there so i dragged 1 of its arms, the upper half of its body got dragged along with the arm. But when i looked to see where the lower part of the creature was, i found a long, ummmm..., sort of cord connecting the 2 halfs of the body,it was the same width as the legs and torso, it was the same colour aswell but it had very poor graphics.

So i continued to drag the upper half of the body and it kept on stretching the cord.

p.s. I only think this will work on creatures with 2 halfs of the body, eg land dreugh.

p.s.s this may not work all the time, so sorry if u wanted to try it.



Duplicate cheat on Game of the Year Addition + downloaded expansions

1.Get 2 or more scrolls ((OF THE SAME KIND)) then get another 1 scroll and kind EXCPET the first kind.

2.Go onto the inventory and press ((!!A!!)) twice on the scrolls which u have 2 or more of then go down to another scroll and simply drop it just drop it nuthin else just drop it.

3.VOILA!!! Now you should have 2 or more of the scroll which you dropped.

4.then drop the scroll which you duped so you only have 1 and repeat so you end up having hundreds of scrolls just like you would with arrows making it easier to dupe your more...expensive stuff.


P.S ~ I recommend saving before trying this sometimes it makes your game freeze ;(

P.S.S ~ If u just started change gameplay setting to the easiest then go into vilverin just wander through it for a bit and u will find a thing called the Varla Stone take it go into the imperial city and dupe the hell out of them so you can sell them at 500+gold coins from the very beginning making you a billionaire in no time.



When i was in the first Oblivion gate in Kvatch, i saved the game near some lava. Then i jumped into it loaded the game again 3 times. After the 3rd time, a clone appeaerd next to me and did the same as me?
