Hints, Tips & Tricks

Developer Tip - Online Play
When you play offline, you'll see cops and AIs in freeride. If you play online, cops won't be there and AIs are replaced by real players. If you are online but want to freeride alone with AIs and cops, go to Options, select Online, and disable "Allow online interactions."

Police
When playing the game offline there are police which can catch and fine you. When on Xbox Live there are still police badges but no police around to catch you. This is useful if you are prone to being caught.

Easy money
Once you reach the Pro level, do the speed race called "170 mph in heavy traffic". When you start, go to the opposite side of the freeway, so you are going with traffic. Once you finish, do not press A. Keep re-trying until you reach your desired limit. Note: A fast car (over 190 mph) is recommended.

Recommended cars for each class
This following is a list of the best overall cars and bikes per class. Note: This is assuming you have the best performance kit for each vehicle without bringing it out of its class (mostly level 3). Note: The first vehicle to appear is the best of the class overall. Others, such as the CC8S in A-class might be a better choice for long, straightforward courses. For the MA-class, the MV Agusta is better in all stats than the Kawasaki, but some prefer it because it is much cheaper than the MV Agusta and also because of its first gear being longer.

G-class
Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe (Amazing top speed, acceleration, and handling for its class, but has to be unlocked first; has stats similar to C or B car)

Lamborghini Muira P400SV (good top speed, 198 mph)

Easy money for chapion rank
First become a champion rank. (Get 465 achevment points) look at the Mnts. on the West side of the island. go a little to the east and you will see a speed catigory race entitled '180 mph in heavy traffic'. 1st, if you havent found the race yet, travel to it. i suggest you use the 'Salen s-7 twin turbo', or the 'Enzo Ferrari'.to do this race easily, just turn around and go.This race gets you about 70k cash every 25-30 seconds which is equal to about 150k a minute. (1,000,000$ every 8-10 minutes) good luck.
