To unlock Free Mode, you must S rank all of Sonic, Shadow, and Silver's levels, bosses, and town missions. You can also play as the amigos in this mode aswell.

Shadow and silver are hard but heres how to get them:

Shadow:
To get him do some 'criss city' missons. soon it will say 'defeat shadow!' to beat him dodge his fire attacks and hit him with a homeing attack on him.

Silver:
Do the same too but watch out for HIS attacks! when he HITS you with PSYCHIC you can't get out of it but you can when he throws you into a table!

Silver may be a one of a kind,but you can tun the tables on him and attack him insted. Run around a few minites(you can use the turbo button that send you at high speed to counfuse him quickly) then he'll try to grab you with his powers,but while you are running, dodge his attack and run straight at him and whack him with a homing attack. He'll then say "Nooo!". Keep this up and when he says "Nooo!",he'll then say "Not this time...." you will have won this battle

After the the video clip of the princess of soleanna, there will be a town square. go through it to the store and before you get to the store you will see an old man with a mark on his head. talk to him. he made some shoes. if you test them for him you get to keep them. these shoes will come of good use.

The last boss is confusing you might not know what to do well i will tell you, all is you do is avoid the laser targets that dont even home in on you and when eegman says "here i come sonic" quickly jump and then when he comes close home in on him then you will grab his horn, after that you just have to ran him into something. When eggmans robot is defeated two machine guns come out so when it comes home in on them and then home in to eegman it is as simple as that, i think this is the most easiest boss of all.

The silver medals are everywhere. On the first level when you go through the mirror you will end up at the the beach. When you jump on and off the big rocks and you land on the building do not grind down the rail. Look round and you will find a silver medal. After that go down the rail and when you go through the loops you will be running on water. To the left there will be another silver medal and a life (1up). Be warned because if you walk on a rock you cannot run back off it.

Find Sonic man in soleanna as Sonic and on Sonic mans t-shirt it will have the logo of the first ever Sonic created.

In sonics episode when you challenge silver when the battle starts run around until he says 'take this' when he does use the light blue gem(teleport gem)to use this press the d-pad left or right. Aim at the out of bounds area and aim for the sun activate teleport and you should fly right over the boundry and then you can roam Soleanna.(it might take a few tries)

Go to the store and buy the purple gem as sonic. This gem turns sonic mini. When you jumo and home attack as him you dont home attack though you jump and then go a tiny bit higher in the air. keep pressing A and you wil start to go up higher and higher in the air.
