Use the following trick to re-sign players for less in Franchise mode off-season. When you go to re-sign players, go to your "Player Management" screen first. Change the player that you want to re-sign to another position, such as a kicker or punter (the worst overall possible). Go back to re-sign that player for a lot less. Note: You cannot save the change unless you have enough players at that position after you change the player's position. For example, to change a cornerback to a kicker you must have four other cornerbacks remaining.

Madden Moments are essentially challenges to re-enact a memorable scenario between two teams that has happened in prevous seasons, or even do it better. Now, many of these are easily beat with a little practice. There are, however, some that will REALLY try your patience. If you find yourself in a situation like this, there may be a simple, although slightly unfair, way to complete it. The moments use YOUR roster, so if you lower all of the stats on the opposing side, and/or increase all of the stats on your side, you should be able to beat the moment with ease. If you know what Madden Moments are, then you probably know how to get to the rosters and edit a player. Oh, and if you're worried about screwing up the rosters permanently, don't. When you try to do the achievments that work in "Play Now" mode, put the skill on rookie and you should pick a team that is a rival to yours that has a very low rating. And if you pick a team, like the Dolphins, you should get atleast 8 achievments that are the easiest.
