In Heliord, head to the inn and take to the merchant. He'll give the costume Judith used when she seduced the guards to gain access to the elevator. She'll receive the costume title. You need to trigger this event BEFORE killing any Giganto Monster (First one is the Hermit Drill)

4. After killing all Giganto Monsters, visit them in same location and talk to Rich several times since hell give you key items for each Giganto Monster you slew and finally, the costume title for Karol.

You must complete these items before heading to Tarqaron. Follow these steps to acquire them all. Fell Weapons are marked with asterisks for easier identification

* Abyssion Sword - Go to the room of the Myorzo Elder

* Zarich - Use Ba'ul to reach the aer krene to the southeast of Nordopolica and approach the blocking blocking the entrance.

- Sorcery Ring LV4 - Get to the bottom of the aer krene to level up your Sorcery Ring

During the last battle with Duke in Tarqaron, an event will occur where the power of all the Fell weapons will be unleashed when the Duke enters the final phase of the battle.



Start with Judith and the other girls first then the boys.

Have a pen and paper ready and take note of the orders.There are complicated orders, like different quantity of 2-3 menu items.

Serve the costumers who get impatient first. You need to satisfy all costumers in order to move on to the next round (there are 3 rounds).

Pay close attention to whose order you take and watch if they change their minds. Take note of the order carefully and deliver it back to the costumer. Some of the items sound similar so be careful.

Completing this mini-game will reward all your characters with individual costumes, titles and a good amount of gold. Complete this mini-game with five characters to get a special prize!



The standard 5-hand rules apply here. Make any of the hands to win chips. Winning hands of two pair or better earn a chance to double your winnings by paying High-Low. You can double your bet up to five times by picking whether the next card will be higher or lower than the card showing.

Before going to the magistrate's house in Port Nor, continue north to reach a building with an open window and a man. Talk to him and play a game of Odd-Even (there is another game High-Low) where you need to guess if the total of the two dices is even or odd. The usual pattern is Even, Even, Even or Odd, Even, Even.

You'll get Rita's title and a Gel set.



Some enemies will only appear when its raining. While on the field, try going through some areas where the weather may change and wait for the uncommon monsters to appear.



Make it a habit to carry a good number of Magic Lens and use it on any new enemy you find. After scanning, it will be registered to your Monster Book. Further data, like dropped or stolen items will be automatically updated as well.

Also, don't forget to scan EVERY SINGLE boss you encounter, even if you encounter them again later in the game. Their level and stats will be different, making them as new entries. This is necessary if you are aiming to get 100%



Upon finding a savepoint in a dungeon, always prepare your party and assume that a boss battle will ensue. This way, you won't get caught at a disadvantage.



Use your Sorcerer Ring to panic or stun enemies before entering battles with them. The battle will start with all enemies stunned, giving you a few seconds to deal free hits.



In every major town, there is a guy with a yellow hardhat named Kozakura positioned near the shops. Talk to him to know what are the items you can synthesize while the area. If he suggests an item, that means that the monsters carrying those materials are just nearby or around the area. Take his suggestions into consideration since its the only way to have access to more powerful equipment, weapons and more skills.



There are skills that can only be learned from weaker weapons. You can safely equip the weaker weapon to the character and just remove that character from your active party. He/she will receive experience even when not fighting. The same goes when learning skills.



Farm experience, gald, LP and synthesis items by doing it in an area near blue save points. Just restore your health by using it and fight again.



Make it a habit to collect at least 8 types of synthesis items per area by fighting the monsters there. This will allow you to synthesize valuable and more powerful weapons once available, even if you are away from location where the materials can be collected.



You can PAUSE the game. This is an in-game cheat which you can use to temporarily stop the waiting time of the costumers, when taking their orders or when getting them from the counter.



You can earn more gald if you equip the costume titles while helping server costumers in the tavern.



Follow the walkway and exit to the left. You should find yourself if the large room with barriers and blastia controlling them. Youll need to eliminate all five barriers in order to reach the control room. The crates around this area are the ones that will you disable the blastias.

1. Start by destroying the yellow blastia to lower right, near the night. This will disable the yellow barrier. Now go upstairs to the north, shoot the metal obstacle to the left.

2. Now go right to the next screen. Push the crate to the left and drop it over the pink blastia. Once that is destroyed, climb the ladder nearby and head to the left. Climb up the first platform there and grab Guardian Stamp. Head south until you see the blue blastia. Position yourself directly over it and wait for a crate to pass. Time your shot so it hits the crate and destroys the blastia below. Three barriers down.

3. Get down from the platform and head to the left. Climb the ladder down until you see a conveyor belt moving southward. Position yourself in middle of the cli just above the white blastia. Shoot a crate again to drop on the blastia. Now take the central walkway where the barriers were and defeat the Knight Bishop guarding a control panel. Activate the control panel to unlock the lift controls below

4. Backtrack to the lower level, past the point where you dropped the crate over the white blastia. Climb the ladder down and operate the lift. Choose to lift the platform to the upper level. Now climb to the middle level and head to the southwest corner. Push the crate over the last blastia to clear the central walkway.



1. Head to the right, follow the corridor to reach the first statue. Grab the items (Limit Bottle and Breaker Bow) and shoot the statue to activate it. (Symbol: New moon) Return to the audience hall.

2. Head south to reach the courtyard. From the courtyard, exit to the left, then south to find the Goddess Statue you used to escape the castle before. The angel statue is located in the room to the lower left. Activate the statue by shooting it (Symbol: Crescent Moon)

3. Return to the audience hall, go upstairs and enter the corridor to the left. Like the first one, follow the corridor to reach the angel statue. Activate it. (Symbol: Half Moon) Open the chests in the area (15000G and Vagabond + 1)

4. Backtrack, exit the hall. Head back to the courtyard. From the courtyard, exit to the east, south, then east again. This will bring you back to the dungeon area of the room. Enter the corridor heading north to find the last statue. Activate it and you should hear a chime to confirm that you did it correctly.



After defeating Alexei in Zaude, enter Heliord. Go the central blastia and talk to Pauly (the little kid) in the upper right hand corner.

Watch the scenes, and the kid will be kidnapped. Battle some monsters and retrieve the kid. Watch more scenes and Repede will get a new skill, arte and a new title as well.



After regrouping with the whole party at the start of chapter 3, go to Zaphias. Go to the Royal Quarter to trigger a scene with a noble asking Brave Vesperia to look for his brother. Head to the right to talk to him once more. Return to the public quarter and find the girl named Lune sitting on the bench with some children. She'll give a book to Yuri. Yuri will learn the Tiger Blade base arte and earn his title as well.



While the Dog Map sidequest is active, Repede can talk to certain animals in towns to protect his territory. That way, his rival dog won't mark protected territory no matter what.



While the Dog Map sidequest is active at the start of chapter 3 (once the whole team has regrouped) head to the Zaphias Public Quarter and go to the left, near the stairs. Repede will talk to another dog. He will receive a Friendship Furball key item during this scene.



When fighting normal enemy encounters, try to have your characters equip the following:

Hunter's Monocles: Drastically increases monster drop rate.
Blue Dice: Earn 20% more grade
Blue Sephira: Earn 2x amount of gald
Thief's Tattoo (Repede w/ Thievery Plus): High percentage of stealing enemy item.

Winning battles with these equipment will ensure that you get the most loot possible.



After Tarqaron rises in chapter 3, some of the rocky parts of the world will be accessible for Ba'ul to land. Visit these areas during the night to fight the tall and slender "Gentle-" monsters. They drop practically uncommon materials you can't find anywhere else.



There is a portion in the Father Muzaerli mountains that can't be marked by Repede and will remain as enemy territory. The secret is to land in the cratered area, just behind Mt.Temza's entrance.

However, you can't just land there with Ba'ul. First win the LV5 Dragon Race by talking to the kid in Myorzo to get Krone's Dew. This will power up Ba'ul and you'll now be able to land in that area.



Gald is pretty much needed in several sidequests in the game - sometimes you'll need large amounts of it.

Aside from fighting high level monsters and equipping Blue Sephira, try fighting the Rhybgaros in the forested area behind Capua Nor. These guys drops Golden Horns which costs 10000G each! Equip one of your active members with a Hunter's Monocles and bring Repede with Thief's Tattoo and Steal Plus skill for even higher drop rates.



The Dragon Race is a pretty easy mini-game if you know the tricks.

2. Pause the game
3. Plot your course. Remember that you'll need to collect both red and yellow rings to complete the race.

Since you can pause the game, you can easily plan your shortest route to collect rings in one go.



Sleeping at the inn will make your party hungry again. You can take advantage of this feature by sleeping at the King of Adventure lodge (50G per stay), cook the dish and sleep again. Repeat the process to master/learn
new recipes in no time.

Youll obtain the Mabo Curry recipe and the Cooking Match Invitation. Now, make sure that one character has mastered all the HP/TP recovery dishes and at least 3 stars for every other dishes. To make it easier, just sleep at the inns for your (The Cooking Challenge) Once you have collected all recipes from the Wonder Chef and their variants, enter Norpolica by sea. In the dock, head to the left to find the Wonder Chef. If you cant see him there, that means you havent unlocked all recipes yet. Check the Cooking and Recipes portion of this guide to know how to get all the recipes and how to unlock their variants. Youll obtain the Mabo Curry recipe and the Cooking Match Invitation. Now, make sure that one character has mastered all the HP/TP recovery dishes and at least 3 stars for every other dishes. To make it easier, just sleep at the inns for your party to be hungry again. Its better to do that method in the Kind of Adventure lodge since they have the cheapest rate. Make sure to cook after every battle. Once ready, head to Dahngrest and head to the west exit. There should be building there called Black Hole Bistro. Watch the scenes and your characters will earn their individual titles afterwards.



Rita's Meteor Storm is no doubt the best offensive spell in the game. You can abuse this spell to lay waste even on very hard bosses and is very effective in crowd control.

Resilience - Avoid staggering when casting a spell
Speed Cast - Decreases spell casting time
Convert Absorption - When finishing an enemy with a spell, possibly absorb enemies remaining HP as TP

These are the skills you can add later on, once you have enough SP.
Magic 1-4 - Increase spell attack by X%
Spirits 1,2,3 - Increase X% max TP
Stun Magic - Increase chance of stunning enemies
HP Condition 3 - Increase spell attacks slightly when HP is more than 75%
Condition Guard - Reduces effects of certain physical ailments

Recast - Resume casting the same spell when interrupted

Equipment:
Milky Way + 1 - The original Milky Way is located in the optional area in Tarqaron. (Included in this guide). Youll need to
synthesize it to get Speed Cast and Resilience.
Wonder Symbol - Has the same effect as Spell End, stacks effect (Can be acquired first in one of the storage rooms in Heracles)
Shizels Necklace - Dramatically increases casting speed

In normal casting, press B repeatedly for Rita to cast Meteor Storm immediately. Press A as soon as the first meteors drop and repeat the process. When timed correctly, Rita should be able to cast another MS while the first batch is still raining down. This will continue the chain if the last meteors hit their targets but since this is to keep enemies at bay while your allies pummel them, there is no need to worry about continuing the chain. This method is even more effective when you go on Over Limit. Make sure to cast MS first before going to Over Limit to maximize your damage. Youll just need to use one OL level at a time.



In Nam Cobanda Island, after Tarqaron rises, enter the gymnasium. To the left of the capsule dispensers is a series of arcade machines. Talk to the Kowz there to have a short scene on how things work. You can actually play an 8-bit mini-game called Tales of Draspi. (You can post your high scores over XBL if you think you did well enough) Play it several times to earn this title. Remember that you dont need to play the actual game; getting to the title screen and quitting will count as playing it. Just repeat this until you get a scene. You should be able to play the game free as well after getting the title.



1. After Zaude, when everybody rejoins your party in Dahngrest, head to the first shop (not the one inside the inn) and talk to the man to the right. Karol and Raven will agree to help the man. The door should be opened. Grab the (C) F Statue from the chest.

2. After Tarqaron rises, head to Nam Combanda island. Talk to the Antlion man near the toy dispensers inside the gymnasium to get a brief explanation about how the dispensers work.

3. Fly to Yumanju Spa and talk to the man on the upper left. You'll receive Estelle's Tiara attachment. As part of the job, you'll need to collect all 11 statues by using the dispensers.

3 statues are available from the dispensers inside Yumanju inn. Since each use costs 500G, I suggest saving your game first then reload if you didn't get any statue after spending a fortune

Go to Zaphias, Lower Quarter and talk to Hanks to get 1 statue
2 statues are available from the 500G dispensers in Nam Cobanda Island
2 statues are available from the 100G dispensers in Nam Cobanda Island
2 statues are available from the 50G dispensers in Nam Cobanda Island
1 statue is available from the 10G dispenser in Nam Cobanda Island

4. Head back to Yumanju to find the man. If he's not there, you are probably missing one statue. Yuri will get his Recollection Guardian title after the scene.



Visit the floating city of Myorzo and talk to the little boy on the walkway beneath the shop to start a race.

The objective of these races is to fly around and collect 10 yellow and red rings as fast as possible. They can be viewed from the small radar screen to the actual map overlay. Collecting red rings consecutively increases the time bonus (1.5 seconds, 3 seconds, 5 seconds and so on). The rings are pretty close together during the first race. They are spread further apart in subsequent races. Don't worry though, the time limit will be increased as well. Try to chain collecting red rings first to maximize your time bonuses but don't do so if it'll throw you off course.

You'll receive Krone's Dew for completing the third race.



Return to Capua Torim during the third act of the main story. Go to the dock and look for another large dog (which is actually Repede's rival) The two will talk in dog language and decide to have a contest to see which of them can mark the most territory. To mark an area, the party must camp for the whole night in a particular spot. Use more valuable items such as the Tent or Barrier to increase Repede's "influence" in an area. Spend at least 3-5 minutes in the rival dog's area to "capture" it. Open the world map and press Y to view the Dog Map and see the marking progress.



Fly Ba'ul into Entelexia (check the World Map) and visit the elder to receive the Abyssion Sword. Take this sword to the Aer Krene on the island southeast of Nordopolica. The boulder blocking the path will shatter once you approach it with the sword in your possession. Enter the aer krene and head out to the center of the cave to power up the Sorcerer's Ring to LV4. Now visit any of the other aer krene in the world and enter the center of it to get the LV5 sorcerer's ring. This will allow you to clear any obstacles anywhere.



Giganto Monsters are optional bosses that are literal giants. They have really high HP and level as well. Some of them will only appear after revisiting the locations listed below.

Before heading to Tarqaron, head to Aurnion. Go near the Aurnion HQ to find a knight named Agueron. Talk to him to learn that he wants to make the town bigger. He'll request for specific items. Consult your Monster Book and Items/Equipment menu to know where to get the items. These items are in sets so you'll need to complete the 1st set and return to him to get the list for the second set and so on.

In Dahngrest, visit the Sagittraius Tavern and tlak to the woman in the middle, behind the bar. She'll need some extra hand for taking orders and serving the costumers. Each character may act as a waiter/waitress and they have different level of difficulties as well. The easiest is with Judith so start with her.

You must take the order one costumer at a time. Give the order to the lady at the bar then deliver the food back to the costumer. You must not take an order from another costumer without delivering the order from the previous costumer.



Use Ba'ul to reach this isolated island in the northwest corner of the World Map. Pay a visit to the festival and get your tickets (10G each) at the gate and head inside the gymnasium on the left. Here you can buy chips, play games, use the in-game Skit Player and Movie Player and even take roles in a play.

There is also a poker table. Win chips there to exchange them for some valuable items.



(Nam Cobanda Isle) Talk to the Kowz behind the desk near all of the tables to learn about the Imperial Academic Conference Collaborative Research Organization's certification test. The Kowz is no other than the infamous researcher named Miska whom Rita wants to meet in her whole life. You'll need to locate specific books for Rita to get her much awaited degree. Get the books from the locations below and return to Miska to get Rita's Miska Scholar title.

(Nam Cobanda Isle) Talk to the Kowz and Antlion near the model statues to access an in-game movie and skit player. This allows you to watch any cinematics as well as skits you have previously viewed. Talk to the man in the suit close to the Antlion to play some samples of the game's musical scores.



Speak to the actor near the stage in the gymnasium to learn about his guild, Showtime. He's trying to rehearse the play but there are the other actors are not around. He needs four stand-ins for the play. Choose Estelle, Rita, Yuri and Karol to play the roles. After this brief play, they'll earn new titles and costumes. You'll also receive Shield of Valor and Hero's Sword.



Visit the small retreat on the continent to the northwest to find the spa. This place also has a Fortune's Market outpost, some vending machines and a spring bath. Talk to the receptionist and help her tending to the baths to get new titles and additional costumes.



Visit the spa during Chapter 2 after getting Ba'ul. Head to the inn and stay for the night before returning. Make frequent trips back to the inn after nights away in an inn and alternate characters as party leader. Yuri, Estelle, Karol, Rita and Raven will earn new titles and costumes. Change to those costumes then return to the hot springs one final time before completing the game and talk to the receptionist.



During your second playthrough in the game, during Chapter 3, head to Yormgen and speak to the Sage located there (this is while Yormgen is still an illusion). Continue with the story and after heading to Dahngrest, fly Ba'ul and the Fiertia back to Yormgen to access a bonus dungeon called Labyrinth of Memories. This a difficult dungeon filled with tougher versions of the enemies you have fought during your first playthrough.



After visiting Mantaic and entering the Sands of Kogorh, return to town and sleep at the inn. A scene will trigger where Judith and the others case some blastia smugglers. She'll learn a new arte after the scene.

After doing the side-event to get Judith's new arte, sleep at the inn again for a scene between Yuri and Estelle. After the conversation, you'll receive a key item called Mother's Memento.



After freeing Mantaic from the Tyrant Cumore, head to the back of the inn to find a small kid with a cow costume. He'll trade some items with you. Come back after every major event in the story line to check what he has to offer.



Think before you collect all seven Fell Arms~!

If you collect all the seven Fell Arms in the game, you will need to win an extra battle with a much powerful version of Duke. He's LV82 and his attacks are very powerful. Beware of his Mystic Artes. Big Bang reduces all your party's HP to 1 and causes status effects while Brave Vesperia is a combination of everybody's mystic arte. It deals heavy damage and heals 100000+HP to Duke.
