Topic: Uhh???
Help please. Several days ago I bought Fallout 3... what a beatiful game. All of the gore and missions. Basically, it's amazing.
Now, to the point of the topic. 4 days ago I completed the game, well the main quest and came across an unlikely event. The game, well, ended. The point of me thinking this being unlikely is because in several magazines and after asking several of my mates it seems that this should not have happened. I think it is because I made the wrong decision by volunteering to go in to type in the code for the purifier. If you have and comments or could help me in anyway, please post your views.
Now, my final request. If you have any other pointers please post them. If there are any hints or tips or anything similar to that please post them here. I know Gman could help here. It seems you have some experience in the game..

How did you not know this?
The game ends once you finish the main quest. Never finish it. Save before you complete the quest "Take it Back" (?) and carry on with the game. The Broken steel DLC mods this and allows the game to continue.

Broken Steel was hard. The enclave get stronger the futher you go in to it

It evens says the game ends in the game manual on page 3

Yeah, I read that part.
But I've seen many gametitle reporters talking about missions and other stuff after the game.
Also, can anyone tell me about the Pitt and where to find it. I heard its 500 klicks to the northeast of the Citadel but I still can't find it after looking for hours.

you don't do much research do you,
anyway The Pitt is DLC which is currently unavailable for PS3,
but will be soon, The first DLC that comes out for the PS3 is Broken Steel, which lets you continue after the last mission
