What games did you play as a kid, which were your favourites. Is there one game that brings you way back?

For me, it was a game called Trog, it was similar to packman in game-play, but with extra content and fewer levels. I played it on my computer several days ago, and it brought me way back to my days of sitting cross legged in front of an NES. I used to play that damned thing for hours and hours at a time.

I remember sitting in front of my nans TV with my cousins playing Croc on PS1. They also had it on CD-ROM, and now it lives at my nanas, so if I'm there, I still sometimes play it.

Good Times.

well, there are a few games that always hold nostalgia to me, and I'll play them again even if I've beaten them a hundred times.

Phantasy Star Series (SMS & Genesis)
Legacy of the Wizard (NES)
Final Fantasy IV (SNES)
Castlevania 2 (NES)
Landstalker (Genesis)
Zelda 2 (NES)
Kid Icarus (NES)
and of course...

Super Mario Bros. (NES)

Legacy of the Wizard was probably one of the first games I ever beat, and trust me, to this day I guarantee that a lot of younger generation gamers could NOT beat this game without some sort of walkthrough. It is an insanely tough game if you don't know what to do, especially that nothing is ever as it seems in that game. I highly recommend it to anybody, young or old (however, I have found that younger gamers have become spoiled by high-end graphics and will usually shun the block-style of the true classics).
