This thread is to help our Admin design these new features, so any suggestion and helpful guides should be posted here.
Trophy System
The idea of a new trophy system should be a relativly simple idea. Trophies will be rewarded in a number of fashions, wether it be 'highest poster of the month, week etc' or 'Walkthrough writer of the month' and maybe even trophies for the top 3 contributers on the ranking list, Gold, Silver and Bronze. The space under our Avatars in the forums could be turned into a mini Trophy cabinet if you like, displaying the trophies we've earned. (Trophies may last forever, or expire after a month.) We could then add a new tab in our profiles entitled 'Trophies' which shows every trophy we've ever earned at CC, even if we no longer hold the title as it has been passed on to a different member. If we have earned a trophy more than once, a number underneath the picture of the trophy will change. (According to how many times you've held the title)
Suggestions on different trophies are welcome, and an artist at CC may be required to design the trophy model.
Reputation Points
The 'Reputation System' is a new system we are able to use at ChapterCheats which will display how many times that contributer has been 'prefered' or 'un-prefered'. Each member which have a thumbs up sign  or a thumbs down sign  somewhere in or around their avatar. You may give reputation to a member up to 1 time a day and each time they get a thumbs up their reputation score goes up by 1. If a member gets a thumbs down then a number will be deducted. Their score may move down into the minus numbers if reputation keeps getting deducted. Reasons to get good rep may be that a member has written a good walkthrough, guide or cheat recently, someone has made a good point in the forums, someone has created a great work of art in their pictures or any other reason why you think this member should get rep. Reasons why members should get bad reputation may be that they've been spamming or making invalid posts, abusing other members or any other bad behaviour which has effected you. This could help cut out the bad behaviour at CC in the long run.

note: trophies which are displayed under our avatars will be considerably smaller than the full version displayed in the 'Trophies section'
note: in the event of abusement of the reputation system, that member should be punished accordingly.

The reputation system is a good way to filter content. Its currently being used in some of the popular forums and it helped a lot in establishing a well balanced community. Setting a limitation for one post a day (and you can't vote for your own post) will narrow down the instances of abusing this feature.
As for the trophy system, I think further discussion is needed to be sure that its gonna be fair for everybody. Monthly rewards for contributions (like most blogs posted, most topics replied, most cheats provided) should suffice.

My idea about reputation system:
No thumbs but little leds..
example:
led 1 - "Username" alt text --> "is on a distinguished road"
led 2 - "Username" alt text --> "will become famous soon enough"
led 3 - etc.
Max 10 leds
There will be a little icon so you can vote for:
- approve
- disapprove
And if you like i can make a comment field so you can explane.
Maybe you have seen this system on other forums

I have done some good digital coloring and drawing before. In fact that picture I posted in one of my blogs (the kid with blond hair in manga form) was only a head from my sketch book which I added to in GIMP. If you need a 3D model...well, I have a 3D program on my computer, but I'm not sure how well that will go, considering I don't know diddly-squat about texturing.

I think either of those ideas would be good. Though Gman's is simpler and more common, Admin's method could also help people kinda of vote on deifferent aspects of our personality, interests, etc.
So I'd be fine with either.

But would we be able to see the comments people leave?

Yes, i can make it so you can see there comment. But i did not decide yet which system we have to use.
I think we need more suggestions. But it lookslike many members are working hard on school.
I already start making a complete new counting script for all our contributions, so i can split it easy and count them for every month. very complex..
