the payout seems like a great feature. I'm just not sure about the whole PayPal scene, as I'm sorta like one of those ppl who worries a lot, so I'm not completely sure it's safe. Besides, I'm barely a teenager, so I probably won't get my balance for some time!
I also agree we need more submissions - mainly FAQs, and what some ppl don't get is that an FAQ does not have to be a full-out reveal everything walk-through. For exampple there could be side-quest FAQs, Item FAQs, Dungeon FAQs, Boss FAQs, Unlockable chracter FAQs, etc. There's also a not so surprising lack in Savegames. Most of us don't know how to get savegames on here, or get the equipment to do it.

Paypal is safe. I have been using it for months now and I never had any issues. Let's say Paypal serves as a mediator between you and the store/site. You enter your credit card/bank information in Paypal just once and you can start immediately.
Now, what is safer; you have a mediator that pays the services in your behalf without revealing your financial information or provide your financial information every time you want to purchase or get paid electronically? If you chose the second option, then something may be wrong with you.
Now, for the second part. If you notice, there is a section for walkthrough and guide submissions. Walkthrough is an all-out faq that assists players on how to finish the game from the start. Guides are minor faqs like you mentioned.
For the savegames, I have to agree. Currently I am only able to share my PSP game saves. For other consoles or handhelds, the process may be different.

Don't worry, I plan on doing my part by sending in atleast 800+ new submissions overtime 
I'm glad about this payout system though. I can actually tell people I get paid for the work I do, which I am thrilled abuot. And as I read through previous posts in this thread, I do agree that this would be a great way to get motivated!
