Topic: reviving polls
It is a bad habit I have even done it before but I think that polls,blogs and topics should be locked after 3 weeks of no new posts to prevent "reviving threads"

we've already formed a general consensus thats its not always a bad thing. Do it at your own discretion. Try and decide if its better to make a new thread/poll or to revive an old one.
Look at the thread that was just necro'd after being dead for several months about creating a video game. Cheesus brought some new light onto the topic which was very relevant to the rest of the thread.
