Product Description & Features

Just as you thought the winter had arrived, Codemasters today launches Bliss Island for the PSP (PlayStationPortable) to drive the rain away. Providing a ray of tropical gaming sunshine, discover the game’s multiplayer action in the new video, now available from www.codemasters.com/bliss

Guaranteed to brighten up the gloomiest day, Bliss Island has players controlling Hoshi the Zwooph and his friends as they juggle, wiggle and wind through 50 tropical mini-games of skill and dexterity. Using a unique control system, that makes use of just the analogue stick and an action button, players juggle, race, attack, defend and direct Hoshi and other critters through the challenges.

Bliss Island also welcomes friends; two players can compete against one another in four distinctive multiplayer games over wireless that are exclusive to the PSP edition. Race mates through devious obstacle courses in Bee Racer or dribble past friends, boulders and other colourful creatures in Fluffy Football. Bash bricks to smithereens in Brick Invaders and compete against others to find the hidden fruit in Forest Frenzy

So get your swimsuit and slap on the sunscreen because gaming paradise is here as Bliss Island launches today, Friday 8th December, for the PSP (RRP £29.99). Top up your tan with new multiplayer video and more online at www.codemasters.com/bliss.

ABOUT BLISS ISLAND
Bliss Island is funky, frantic and fiendishly compulsive game of skill featuring a menagerie of competitive creatures that are as bizarre as they are cute and fluffy. Using just the analogue stick and an action button, players will juggle, race, attack, defend and direct the critters through a series of mini-games that share this uniquely intuitive control system.

The game stars Hoshi the Zwooph, a small blue ball of fluff, who’s blessed with the ability to project precision puffs of air from his trunk. In Bliss Island’s 80 mini games, players join Hoshi and his friends in using their brilliant blowing ability to compete in island games, including bashing singing cave slugs, feeding ravenous Jigoka monsters and destroying waves of evil advancing bricks (it’s a weird place).

The PSP system edition of Bliss Island is the evolution of the casual PC game created by Pompom Software (Space Tripper, Mutant Storm). On the PSP system, Bliss Island is a much faster and skilful game than its PC counterpart and adds wireless multiplayer gaming into the mix.

Bliss Island first appeared on Funsta.com as a browser game. Why not try the PC game, which is now available as a free-to-play downloadable title (www.funsta.com)? Also available on over 100 casual gaming portals via Real Arcade, Oberon Media, BigFish Games, IWin, TryMedia and other leading casual game distributors.
