The only thing you can do to defeat Sang Maudit is take your three strongest and some revival stones to revive any of the spirits that you got in the labyrinth or that you brought before you go in to defeat him. Make sure that you have explored the labyrinth thoroughly before you try to go defeat him. The gems are a big help. He starts off as humanoid and then goes to terrestrial if that helps. The second time you fight him he starts as terrestrial and then goes to humanoid.
