What does it take to get an epic pokemon?

No, i have rank 9 to and i got an epic chandulure at 8. it is so, so rare and completely random. they have many traits, and you can only get one from each species.

I got an epic dwebble at around rank 8; i don't think there's a limit other than probably completing the main story. regardless, any epic pokemon is pretty much guaranteed to be incredibly useful with the right moves; my dwebble is often as effective or more than my groudon with ~500 more power. whatever you get, try it out on your main team and you probably won't be disappointed.... i've heard conflicting stuff about whether you're limited to one per species or one total until you release it. i haven't tried, personally.

To get an epic you have to have gotten the coballion after defeating terrikon and vizirion, and have the rank up to 6

I haven't heard of anyone having an Epic and getting another one. I've heard vaguely about that if you give an Epic via Gift Exchange in the 2-player lobby then since it isn't in your collection your permitted to catch a new one. I suppose that's how you could get more than one, but if that doesn't work you'd probably have to restart after trading your Epic so you could have both at once. I think I got my Epic Butterfree around World Rank 8, Although I got Cobalion before I even raised my world rank even once. I heard the Rusty Trick works for finding an Epic but it can be tedious and take forever. I went through near 1,000 Butterfree before I got an Epic, I was trying to get Quiver Dance (+ATK, +DEF, +SPD) for Move Schooling. I was going to give it to my Heroic Butterfree but found an Epic. I love my Epic Butterfree but it's 2800-ish, so it's a long way down from my 3480 Reshiram and Giratina.

I got an epic Wartortle when I was rank 6, but I haven't even found terrakion, let alone defeated him..it's completely random

Its just luck, I think... welll I got a boufflent that knows giga impact and thrash and it dosn`t get confused when it uses thrash cuz it tribute is steady. Also, my awesome latios, its power is 2816, and I got it at rank 7

Well actually it sort of is luck but you don't need cobalion. I got my Epic Lotad 2706 when my world rank was 5 but at 6 I got a palkia that poomed it on power and it was 2864 but now they are wrecked by my Zekrom 3168. My tip is that some day you'll get lucky.

I got an epic glaceon (an epic pokemon i actually like!) a few days ago and I'm just on rank 7. I think you just need to beat the game to receive them. Epic pokemon are probably like the shiny pokemon of rumble blast since they're SUPER rare.
