I think they are called karma points bro... you can get them by keeping your sim really happy or doing wishes. i keep them happy because that is the fastest way to get them. keep them happy even if you fill up the mood bar !

Umm Expertgirl you are soo wrong and missmalik215 you are some what correct you can eaither walk or shake your 3DS...or if you can you can just leave you're 3DS on and put it in you're back pack and earn coin's walking to school and if you wanna earn more in one day you can do this each time you get 10 coin's ok you go to the icon on you're home screen that look's like a tool and click on it then you go to the bottem right click that then change the date a day forward and just keep doing that each time you can't get anymore....(Bro) :)

On the 3ds u actually get play coins that u can use as what u use to use karma its says on ur 3ds home page there is a symbol that looks like a notepad it's notifications u will see how to get play coins I'll save u the trouble but if u don't belive u can check for ur self u have to walk with ur nintendo ds in your hand I guess u play it and each 100 times u get one play coin nice helping u bye

Sorry guys that im so wrong im not mad because i was new to the 3ds so i apologize. You get the coins by walking around with the 3ds in sleep mode. You can spend the in some games. Though shaking the 3ds doesn't take much effects because i tried it what i normally do is stick my 3ds in my bookbag to get a whole lot of coins. Depending on how you go to school and come back will get the coins. Sorry for being such a newb ( new person )! P.S STILL VERY SORRY!
