I need help on a quest

The quest is called the spider queen. So, I found her nest and walked up to it and pressed the L button to interact with it, but nothings happening! Am I doing something wrong? What am I supposed to do?!

U need to collect the dragon scales or what ever there called then scatter them on the left side of the tree
