If you cook your crops with some herbs, as well as cooking eggs and milk together to make pudding, you will get more money for your produce than if you just leave it alone and sell it just as is. It especially is handy with the milk and egg trick :)

If you have internet and a milking tool or shears go into multi-player, ether create a room and wait for players to join or search for one then once in have a item set to trade. while in the multi-player room after trading go around and milk all the animals and if you have shears do the same. milk the cows and others that can be milked and same for shearing find the sheep and others. now big giant random animals appear man go to them they produce more. like a giant cow gives 5 great milk. i only have a milker but i did this for 2 hrs milking all the animals i got 1-5 rating milk! i have so much money i place the milk in storage while in multi then go to another room.then once back in my game i sell all but 1 or 2 to keep for festivals. oh and the multi-player is also good to get silkie eggs i had 4 silkie eggs plus 1 golden silkie egg. Now i have lots because my chicken gives me a silkie egg every day. though its very rare to acquire a silkie egg thru trading in multi don't give up took me 6 hrs, 2 hrs a day to get the 5 i have. One neat thing is that milk can silver that you have in beginning of game, when you get to start building and editing sell it, dang i was surprised it gives you a lot of money. I also found cooking a good way, any food you get fish milk etc make it a meal then sell it you get more money that way. and fish traps there a good source of income too hope i helped.
