Game screwing up after beating Bowser?
Hey, I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered an issue after beating Bowser. So I beat him once, than the credits came and after that it said "game saved" then I re-entered the game and it told me that there was a new toad in the town to talk to. Well when I re-entered the town I noticed that I had all of the same stickers that I had when I went to beat Bowser. And the game said that I didn't have the 6th Royal sticker and said that I had the same number of coins as before I beat bowser (after I beat him I had no coins because of the battle wheel). So I talked to the new toad and all he did was ask me if I wanted to watch the parade which just ended up being the credits again. So after that I beat Bowser again and it was as if I hadn't beaten him before. And sure enough after I beat him the second time it was the same thing, its like the game isnt recognizing or saving it after. I'm not an idiot, i didn't shut it off or do anything, its just not realizing it or something. anyone know anything about this?

It is supposed to do that so you can keep fighting bowser over I guess

Everytime you get to a final boss in the Paper Mario series and beat it, it saves the progress but does not save when you defeated that final boss and items you've wasted, hp you lost, ect.

I thought about that but when I look at the status menu it says I have 5/6 stickers... And the last sticker is not on the book. so why would they do those two things if it was meant not to be saved?

How mad this game can you answer this question I fight bowsor 5 times all ready do we have to do some thing else or what do we have to pass all flag achievements so when we defeat bowsor credits happen and achievement flags show all passed and it's over :[ ?

I'm with Frank but maybe you have to collect every sticker as well because that like passing the whole game

It happened to me. I beat the boss twice but it still did not work. Maybe you have to get all the flags

I think you may have to collect all the Luigi's...there are 5 in total. He should be leading the parade when you beat Bowser. I hope thats true because it took forever to beat Bowser and now I have to do it again! :(

@Shadow - Not the case with Super Paper Mario, after you beat the game then the hole goes away and everything, you can even buy a fake Tippi from Francis.

Maybe you have to clear the sticker museum.

I think you need to get every sticker in the museum, every flag achievement, and possibly all Luigi locations. If that doesn't work i don't know.

This is normal, it's recognizing you finished the game, and let's you finish it as much as you want. I completed the museum, found all 5 Luigis, and all the doors, as well as all the comet pieces, and it resets the battle against Bowser. They should've reset the Bosses too, so you can fight them again. Those battles are so fun, and I want to try them out again, and, sadly, I can't. The fight with bowser was fun, but the fight with the giant Blooper was awesome. Shame they didn't add this feature.
