I do not know what you mean. You do click on your bookshelf and select pulp novel. I don't know if you are having troubles reading pulp novels specifically in the morning, but, it works for me.

Is there a specific time frame to do it in? Because I did it right at 12am and it didn't work. Then I tried a few more times with other sims a few minutes later and it still didn't work.

Buy book in living room and put on table and wait in morning then click. Book. It work
